No one thinks that brazil will be on the list. The brazil is home for amazon rain forests which is a unique biosphere. Many drug dealers or foreign powers may take chance for the resources of brazil. This is the reason that brazil is having more concentration on military. Brazil is also strengthening it’s military by purchasing new technologies around the world. it also has a conscription of 1 year minimum. It’s military is growing faster but not fast as the country next.
9.EGYPT
Egypt is always been a superpower even in the history of world. It haven’t got a great luck when it comes to wars as it lost all four wars against Israel. But things changed when it signed a peace treaty with Israel. It is the only Arab state with a reconnaissance satellite. It is targeted by the terror organizations like ISIS so need a good military to defend it self. Egypt has a conscription term for male citizen between 18 to 49 years to have a 3 years of national service. They have a good diplomatic relations with countries
8. UNITED KINGDOM
The royal military is always been a good military except for aggression on colonies. United kingdom played a vital role in the world wars. It is not about the number of personnel. It is about the technology and weapons it has. United kingdom plays a key role in the NATO alliance. It has 27 commissioned ships. It is a defensive power but it can join in any time if any one of NATO is invaded.
7. SOUTH KOREA
South Korea is not new to wars. It always has skirmish with it’s enemy next door north Korea. As their enemy north Korea has nuclear weapons and developing missile technology very fast. As we know that it’s first target is south Korea. South Korea is having alliance with japan and USA to protect from it’s enemies invasion. But it is also strong enough to defend by it self.
6.FRANCE
France is one of the strongest military powers in the world. It is the country which maintains 1.78% of GDP of the country. As per the NATO rules every country in NATO has to maintain 2% for GDP to get self capable. France aviation technology is improving, mainly by Dassault aviation famous for Rafale aircrafts. France is also one of the countries having Nuclear warheads. But France doesn’t have a need for such a great militaries. It haven’t gone for wars for so long but the next is not new for wars.
5. Japan
The Japanese military is cooled down after the defeat of world war 1, but doesn’t mean it is weak. It has great military technology and fighting abilities. It is also viewing to make it’s military aggressive as the north Korea is threatening it with nuclear missiles. Japan is not about it’s military personnel but about it’s military technologies. Mainly tanks technology is reason for it’s might. It’s special abilities are anti ballistic missile deployment and amphibious technology and un armed combat training system. it has great relations with USA.
4. INDIA
India is a fast developing country and it’s military might is a noted one. It is a friendly nation so it has many allies. It can choose they want to from any country. India is a good friend to USA and Russia too. India is well known for it’s missile capabilities. Weapons like Brahmos, Agni and radar systems. It’s military research organization DRDO is always coming up with new technologies. It also has great military personnel with good combat training. With rivals like china and Pakistan, India is always getting trained to keep up. It also has almost 150 nuclear war heads.
3. CHINA
No military in the world is growing fast as china’s PLA. With massive army and new technologies it is a force to be reckoned with. It is famous for it’s ability to hack into other countries organizations and secrecies. There satellites are more advanced than any others as there is a space race for future superpower. It has 240 nuclear war heads. It’s latest major war with Vietnam ended in shame to them. But they are capable of larger war.
2. RUSSIA

Russia is a superpower at time of cold war. Both USA and Russia used to get new technologies to pace up with each other. It has a stock pile of 6000 nuclear warheads most of them are aging. Most of Russia’s old but it is a force that to be considered. But some estimations says Russia might go down to 3 position, if it does not evolve.

USA is a superpower. With highest military expenditure, it always adoptes new technologies. It’s army men are well trained due to extensive wars all over the world. It has more than 5000 nuclear war heads. It’s submarines, destroyers, missiles all are well equipped. Completely USA is strong and can defeat any upcoming threat.
