Just want to share an important lesson with you.
I have always hated english language.
Even though my mother was an english teacher, the thing no gree enter my head.
Back then in secondary school, most of my grades would be looking beautiful
And then there was english …
I actually tried to learn the mugfugging language.
But no matter what I did, those teachers always failed me.
Wicked english teachers.
At one point, I just stopped learning from them teachers.
I lost interest in the subject.
I was unable to can.
I then began to learn from one short, female student in my class.
She became my english teacher.
Every evening, I would break the wings of my ego and go and meet this girl (she was probably the youngest in our class then)
And I’d learn as much as I could.
Do the assignments she gives me and submit in due time.
After a couple of weeks, I saw that my grades got better.
My interest peaked gradually.
And today, my words (both written and spoken) have made me more money than every other thing combined.
It was then I understood the difference between an expert and a coach.
An expert may actually have the skill and be world class at it - but they are bad at pouring that knowledge into other people.
A coach on the other hand has the needed skill and is also world class at pouring the knowledge into other people.
A coach is always graded by the number of experts he creates.
However most people don’t understand this.
Most people want to be coached by Messi
Or Ophrah Winfrey
Or Michael Jordan
Or Dangote.
Except these people are coaches by nature, them being your coach will do you no good.
Instead, you should seek to be coached by the person who taught them.
Those are the people who actually have the ability to nurture your talent and bring out your gold - just as they did for these people.
A student is only as great as his coach.
Peace.
Your biggest fan.
