"He has done it again" - Fans react to FIFA's statement on Ronaldo after breaking new records

The world Football governing body FIFA have also reacted, after Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone for his national team 'Portugal', in their 2-0 victory over Sweden on Tuesday night in the UEFA Nations League.

The 35 years old has to wait till Tuesday before scoring his a hundred goals for his national team since last year, after he missed the team's 4-1 win over Croatia on Saturday in Lisbon Portugal, due to the minor injury he sustained in training.

Fernando Santos started the former Manchester United star against Sweden after confirming earlier that he has returned to full training, and the five times Ballon D'or winner did not disappoint as he netted a brace.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened scoring via a wonderful freekick in the 45th minutes to put his team ahead in the first half, against the ten men Sweden.

The Real Madrid Legend scored the second goal of the game in the 72nd minutes after receiving a fine pass from Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix, to gave the defending Champions the deserve victory.

The two goals now means Cristiano Ronaldo has written down his name in the history by becoming the first player from Europe to score 100 goals for his national team.

He has also scored goal 100 and 101 for Portugal, and he only needs 8 goals to meet Ali Daei of Iran who scored 109 goals for Iran during his playing days.

FIFA have now reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo's new records and milestone for Portugal as they wrote via their Verified Twitter handle that;

"Cristiano has done it, and with a golazo! The SelecaoPortugal No7 becomes the second man in history to score 100 international goals."
