Now a days, we are living in the age of Internet & Social media. Almost half of the world's population are using internet presently.
And most of the internet users uses social media actively. The number of people using social media in 2k20 is about 3.8 billion. Among all the social media Facebook is the most popular. At least 2.6 billion people use Facebook worldwide which is really massive.
But most of the Facebook users do not use Facebook with proper security. As a result, every year millions of social media accounts get hacked & people lose their personal informations. So, we should know how we can secure our Facebook account & use social media safely.
So here's the secrets of Facebook security which will make our virtual life more secured.
1⃣ Use a strong Password of at least 8 characters with a combination of (Numbers, both Capital & Small letters, symbols & signs). Try to use as much characters as you can to make it stronger.✅
🚫What you should not include in your password: 1. Your name, 2. Your date of birth, 3. Your mobile number or any common digits which most of the people use.
2⃣ Use a E-mail address to login to your account.
3⃣ Most of the people keep their mobile number, Email address & DOB public which helps the hackers to get your login details. So, make your provided Mobile number, Email address & Date of birth private so that no one can see it. (Use the only me option to do it).
4⃣ Turn on the two factor authorization in the security & login menu.
5⃣ Enable Login Alerts in the setting menu.
6⃣ Turn on profile picture guard so that no one can use your profile picture.
7⃣ Check you logged in devices & activists on your account on regular basis.
8⃣ Don't use any third party browser to use Facebook & try to avoid unsafe links & sites.
9⃣ Don't save your password on your google accout or on your device.
🔟 If you feel anything fishy on your Facebook account immediately Change your password & deactive your account if needed.
