As we all know, in the 21st century a massive number of people all over the are using internet. It’s like we are floating in the sea of internet.

Internet has interconnected the people all around the world, made communication far more easier than before & opened a huge source of information which has made our life easier. Hence the internet users are increasing largely.

According to a survey, about 4.57 Billion people use internet all around the world till july, 2020. It means about 59% people of worlds total population are using internet.

UAE, Denmark & South Korea stands first according to internet penetration rate while China, India & USA are on the top according to the number of users.

On the other hand most of the people who use internet are active on social media. Some popular social media like Facebook, WhatsApp, You tube, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, Viber etc have become an essential part of our day to day communication & entertainment.

At present, about 3.8-3.9 Billon people use social media which is 9.8% more than the previous year. So, about 49 percent of the world's population are connected with social media now. According to the number of internet users the percentage is about 71. Facebook is the most popular social media having 2.5 Billon monthly active users.Again UAE has the most penetration rate on social media.

If you want to access internet or social media you must have a device like Mobile phone or Computer. People mostly prefer Mobile phone in this case.So, now let's see the number of mobile phone users on the planet.

Actually it’s very tough to tell the exact number of mobile phone users. But the number of subscribers or mobile phone owner at present time is around 5.2 Billion which covers about 67℅ of the world's population. The number of smartphone users is about 3.8 Billion plus. About 10 Billion mobile connection is active on the planet. The top 3 countries using most number of mobile phone are China, India & USA.

The number of people using Mobile phone Internet & Social media is really massive. And the number is growing in a high rate with the development of modern technology.
