Anubis, dog god of death

"Anubis" is the Latin name of the Egyptian god of the underworld. He is known as the “Lord of the Necropolis“. According to Egyptian mythology and old knowledge, the main mission of the Egyptian gods of Anubis was to bring the spirits/ souls to the other world or the Duat, Duat is the realm of the dead in ancient Egyptian mythology, so it's said.

"Anubis" is the Greek name for the guardian of the tombs and he is associated with death and life after death in the religion of ancient Egypt. So even they believed that there is a life after death...

Anubis is also well-known as the lord of the necropolis and patron of embalmers, depicted as a large black canid lying on his stomach, possibly a jackal.

Bast, the Cat Goddess

Bast or Bastet, would be worshipped by the Egyptians as the goddess of fertility, she was often depicted as a cat or woman with a cat or lion head. As the goddess of fertility and love, Bastet also acts as the protector of pregnant women. She is also the goddess of joy, dance, music and festivals. Originally, Bastet had both angry and gentle qualities. Over time, the angry nature was given to the goddess Sakhmet, who became the shadow, the destructive side of Bastet thus.

Bastet was considered the mother of the lion god Mahes and in Heliopolis she was sometimes worshipped as the daughter of Atum, according to other traditions she is considered the daughter of Nefertem. Likewise, there are mentions where she is also called the mother of Anubis or wife.

Duality

This is what I will call this Artwork. "Duality". Bast is creating life, Anubis helps to bring the spirits in the other world's... Life and Death, this is pure Duality isn't it?

The all seeing eye under the blinds watching over it.

At all it took me now 1 til 2 weeks to create it. A lot of patterns were created til I finally finished it. I used different colors and liquid pens, spray and more.
