The undisputed number one on the list is "Satoshi Nakamoto", the creator of Bitcoin and the most #mysterious person in the cryptocurrency world.
So far, no one seems to know who Santoshi is, one can only puzzle whether it is a single person or a group of developers, even the fact that this #legend really exists has often been questioned. Is #SatoshiNakamoto just a pseudonym? Who knows.
Whatever the case, it was "Satoshi Nakamoto" who developed the Bitcoin protocol and created the first version of the software.
Sure enough, there are a lot of rumors about the real identity of "Nakamoto", and several #theories have been put forward to expose him.
Nick Szabo is one of the rumored candidates for the "Nakamoto" crown. #Szabo is a widely known #cryptologist and lawyer who developed the #smart-contract #technology and #bit-gold #algorithm of the #decentralized virtual currency, the release of which took place just a few months before Nakamoto's puplished his Bitcoin.
Craig #Wright is another candidate for the identity of the real Satoshi Nakamoto. In 2015, the Australian #entrepreneur told the whole world that it was he who created the unique technology and filed more than 150 patent applications for the authorship of the distributed registration technology, smart contracts and six cryptocurrencies. The patents were undisputed in his favor, which did not result in any legal consequences. There are other candidates who like to proclaim that they are the creator of bitcoin, but so far the real creator is unknown.
