Most have neglected the efficacy of our afternoon sleep. Siesta is a short nap taken at the early hour of the afternoon. It is referred to as mid-day rest. Originated from a Latin phrase hora sexton which means the sixth hour or noon. It is usually a traditions in some countries.

Some see siesta as just an excuse the have some lazy time out but it is just more than that. It is very vital to our healthy living. The mind needs to be recharge.

Sleep deprivation disease has been a problem in this present age, hence the need for adequate rest. We often work all day and still delay our sleep time at night. If we can make thus a habit disease such as heart failure etc. can be eradicated.

Taking a short nap at noon can help boost our daily productivity. Our daily ability to strategize, calculate drain a lot of energy and their energy must be replenished. It therefore be done by having adequate. I can tell you that a 30 minutes at noon is worth 4 hours night sleep.

Our eyes are often strained from continuous starring at the laptops, computer, siesta would help relax the eye muscles.
