My dream job.
Hi people, this last few days has been kinda bad for me in a way, I haven't been able to focus well, my mind has been everywhere, I believe u will get myself back, okay I committed my self to write on a 30days blogging challenge, though I have writing writing, I haven't been following the topics I had in mind to follow,so I will continue now.
This topic is suppose to be the 4th day topic, I will take it from where I stopped, at least all hope is not lost.
My DREAM JOB
Have I ever thought of a job I would do that will be like a dream job to me,? Yes, firstly when I was in school I have always thought of becoming a lawyer, that in my notebooks I would write my name as " lawyer treasure", well let's say I had a change of mind, after life had its own plans, I lost hope of becoming a lawyer after I finished my high school, but venturing further in life and what my skills were I started having dreams of owning a big complex, where I would have a bakery, a salon, a make up/ photography studio. This became my dream business, I sometimes imagine how it will look like having all this in my name, though it may seem like it wouldn't happen, but when one is dedicated to achieving greatness, there is nothing that can be impossible for God to do.
My dream job now is to have my own bakery/ cake shop, I seriously hope my dreams do come true.

ME FIVE TEN YEARS AGO.
I was in a mess ten years ago, it was like I had no direction on whereby go or to start from, I was just going by each day, as life brought it, since I wrote my senior school exam the last year ,I was just without direction, so I was freshly out of a relationship that didn't last 2month, i was like so I really need a boyfriend or let me just focus on my life which I did, after a 6months I met my now husband ,then we were just church member, then I told him what was going in with me, I explained to him that I don't even have university in mind yet because I wouldnt know how to fend for my self. Yes I finished secondary at a very early age.
Then we got talking, he would pray with me in church, and after some months, since he was working at a company, he also got me a job beside his company, we then git through so many things together, he was my best friend, whenever I had difficulties he would talk with me, then I was blaming my parents for not being able to send me to university, at that point of my life it was like I never wanted to listen to my parents anymore, but when we became friends he talked with me, he told me my parents weren't to blame for anything, it just how life wants us to learn, then I looked at it from his own perspective and I was motivated and I stopped resenting my parents.
HOW FAR I CAME
Ten years later, ( now) I have achieved a lot of things in which I thought I could never achieved, I worked for one of the best eatry company(sweetsensation) , when I accumulated enough saving, I went to catering school, in which I got support from everyone around me, catering school taught his to make almost anything and how to create my own recipe for a particular dish, after I finished my training at catering school, I went ahead and got another training from a private cake artist, as in she was good , she taught me a lot on cakes, I applied for just 6months, and I started baking on my own, it was like a rough journey from scratch but it went well, that i am proud of my self for what u have been able to achieve this past years.
WHAT STEPS I TOOK
Well let's say it was just God, I prayed for divine direction, and God brought someone who helped me alone the line.
I fe id we have that one person who actually believe In your success, then one can achieve greater things.
Another step I took which us very important is being committed to what your goals are, commitment is key in all things
Also being honest with yourself especially, don't deceive yourself when you know what your interest lies in.

Recently the death of a popular gospel Nigerian artist died due to domestic violence, this woman of God I so much admire the strength she uses in singing, she was a great worshipper, when she sings or whenever I listen to any of her songs , even some her in her dialect, I feel my soul, spirit and body go into another realm.
According to the news online she was beaten by her husband, another source said she was having an affair with another artist called frank Edward and her husband discovered it which made him jealous and best her to death.it was said that she has been in the hospital for 5 days after the beaten, where she died, I know many of us might have seen this news trending everywhere since yesterday.
Okay here's my question so let's say she cheated, does it give the man the right to kill her? Even the Bible says when you catch your spouse in the ACT, if you can't forgive him or her, then you dissolve the marriage, I can't remember where it was said but I know I have come across it sometimes ago when I did a marathon Bible reading. And then lets say the cheating is a rumour, why did he best her to the point if death?, I seriously can't understand people who abuse their spouse be it a man or a woman, cause we have also seen news of a woman killing a man because he cheated in her, why can't they just dissolve the marriage,if they can't tolerate the sight?
So now this great worshipper of God is dead.
****Why did God make it happen?****
So initially, when I saw the news, the rumors was that she had throat cancer or something like that, I was like someone that has cancer can't sing the way she does , if you listen to her song then you will know what I am taking about. So then I told my husband that God has called her home to come continue singing for him in heaven, but knowing that it was due to violence..
Do you think God can take singers away from earth to heaven or people who diligently seek him to come continue serving him in heaven?

Are you a movie addict?
Hey hivers,I don't know if it's only me, but seriously this year alone I have seen more than 50 Korean movies, some of which I spent my nights to download,you know if night data, are always cheap😃, so this movies after downloading at night, I watch during the day, after I might have spent some of my time here to either engage in reading peoples post and commenting on them, really I have been addicted to korean frames for as long as I can remember, and I don't even watch our country movie.
So last night ,I woke up around 2am to start downloading, just then my husband woke up took, you know how men react Nah?, so i just played it cool, because he has been complaining of the rate of time I spend watching movies, so he sat up and asked me,"baby what will you do when you wake up one morning and you don't find any movie on your phone?" I just looked at him like he was crazy, I knew if my responds at that moment was a rude one, my movies would surely be gone and it won't just be a question, so I said "eh I will not be happy I will feel so bad as if something as left me"
He just looked at me and said, you better be limiting your time with those movies if not that will be the next step I would take.
WILL I CHANGE MY WAYS?
Since he is not at home during the day ,I spend my time on my phone, creating posts and doing other house chores, so it's not that I take all my time watching movie, but you know since I really don't have much to do during the day i should have that time for myself 😁.

I love movies no doubt, who doesn't, but I love Korean dramas, if I want to make a list if dramas I watched this year alone I will have a really long note.
Presently I am watching this k-drama called BUSINESS PROPOSAL.

Lily has been blind for as long as she could remember, coming from a family of seven, four sisters and a brother, with her parents Inclusive, she was the last child of the family and was also treated like one, even though she was already 27 years old and still unmarried. Her mother especially dots on her like a precious china doll, always telling her to be careful of where she wanted to sit or stand, yes she loved her mother dearly and adored how she took care of her, she knew her mother only meant well for her, that was why she didn't always complain of the care, even when she could do some things on her own. She has always dreamed of a kind man who would come sweep her off her feet, but she was always been treated like a little girl, whenever they went out.
Lily wasn't born blind, she was only a victim of a terrible illness that infected her when she was just a baby, at that point when they knew she has infected her parent moved her older siblings to their aunt mary's house which was not so far from their town. lily wanted to feel like other maidens that were being wooed by bachelors in town, cause she does hear stories of who was or who has been wooed by young men from her sisters, she sometimes in her imagination fantasies about it, she knew if only her family gave her breathing space, then maybe someone would notice her for who she was, but that hope was gradually dying as she was passed the young age of being hooked, in six months she would be twenty-eight years old without a husband her sisters and brother were all married with their kids, she only hope she would get hers one day.
Her father does tell her whenever he finished reading to her that she would get her when the time comes.
One fine summer morning, they got a visitor at their door at the break of dawn, it was a man looking so tired in a soldier's uniform like he was just coming from a War, her father who opened the door welcomed the man into the house and sat him down, he gave him a glass of water to drink her mother was beside him quickly went into the kitchen and brought some food for him to eat he ate like one who hasn't eaten for some days so after eating mother prepare the guest room, in which he slept for a long time, since her sisters were married and didn't stay in the town, there was no way for her to get a description of how the looked like, just that her mom told her he was a fine-looking man. In the evening while sitting by herself at the dining table drinking a glass of milk she heard someone walk toward her and she quickly spoke up and informed him that her parents were at the back of the house, watering their garden, her mother came in at that moment and then their man who's name was Edward narrated how he got to their foot that morning, he and his friends were on their way to their home town when they were attacked by robbers who took their luggage and his friends all ran into different directions and that's how they missed themselves he knew they would all find a way to get home since they were not far from home.
Edward turned out to be a caring person, he helped her mother out in the kitchen and also her farm on her farm, a week later he announced he was leaving, lily felt sad cause she thought he was taking a liking to her, as he was always complimenting her, unknown to her Edward was already falling in love with her that was why he extended his stay, in the day he was to leave he gave lily a brackets that he would come back for it, as a promise he was going to visit again.
At Edwards's house his friends were already there waiting for him he told them where he had been and also about lily after two weeks passed Edward felt he needed to pay lily a visit, which he did, Lily was happy and at that spot, Edward asked Lily to marry him, her parents were in tears, because they thought no one wanted their blind daughter, but lily prayers brought her good fortune In its own time. They got married after a month, Lily found love, when she thought she couldn't.
Lesson to learn,
Never belittle yourself, because you are in a predicament

Due to the incident that happened yesterday my account be in hijacked by a thief on hive, I wasn't able to continue with my blogging challenge, so I thank God I was able to recover it, thanks to @kittygirl who put me through.
Initially, I was going to skip this third Topic that says to write about "your favorite quote", but then the happenings of yesterday made me change my mind, my favorite quote is "WHEN THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS HOPE".
Really when there is life, there surely is hope, in my understanding, without life in someone who can't achieve or do anything, yes takes me to yesterday's incident, because I had life in me, I was able to hold in to hope that I would be able to retrieve my account, which I did, because of the hope I held onto, seriously I never have thought of it that way, whenever my mom does say this, I just believe she's hopping on God to change her story or financial status since she still a living soul, but there's more to this quote when you have life, you get to hold onto believes that yes you can do this or do that, hope is a good thing for us to hold onto.
I can't tell who came up with this quote, just that I have been hearing it for as long as I can remember.
I believe now that it is when you are alive and well that you can be as to achieve, success, victory, promotion, etc. When you have a life you achieve great things, through hoping for God.
I know this writeup is for someone, you have life, then you have hope, just like I had and was able to recover my account.

Yesterday's journey.
Good morning everyone, I guess you all had a splendid nigh?, I slept I one who was trampled upon last night, reason is, first my business is always around me or what I want to do I do them within my area and even if I'm to go very far it won't be as far as I went yesterday.
So you know I once made a post about a friend of mine who came around to visit sometimes at the end of January? So she called me Sunday night and asked I bring her luggage to her , where she got a part time job, since the place is easier for her for when she will be leaving on Friday, so I agreed and went to her yesterday, that's why I wasn't chanced to write yesterday, since it been a while ,I left my comfort zone and you know if you are in Nigeria, you know the stress of the traffic and and and I went with my daughter, who i havent even been taking out, lets say yesterday was a stressful one for me but it was worth it cause I had time to sit with my friend cause I don't k ow when next we will see each other.
Also my daughter was treated like a queen there too, can't help but say this, I know she's beautiful, even when we are in church, everyone wants to carry her her name Adesewa in yoruba language meaning beautiful also makes people just say she's very beautiful, yesterday was her first time going so far, she was happy and restless at the same time.
I'm happy I got to go out and also to see my friend before she went back to school

It's great to participate in this weekend's contest again, I would have loved to write about my childhood accident because of how it happened but instead changed my mind on it, so I would be writing in this instead.

Wednesday afternoon after eating my hot plate of vegetable soup and eba ( kind of staple food made from cassava), I felt water run down my thighs, being exactly 38 weeks pregnant at that time, I felt I still had time before the baby comes, initially, I felt I eased on my self being the norms of pregnancy, I then went to the toilet to ease myself, I came back to the room again and wanting to lay down the water tripped down again, at that moment, my husband who was sitting down stood up, and my mum actual walked in at that moment and looked at us and then I told her I was leaking, she then asked if I was feeling any pain in any way which I wasn't, so fast forward to later that night I didn't go to the hospital because I wasn't feeling pain and the water was only tripling little by little, I stayed at my mum place throughout the night without any pain when morning came, we prepared to go to the hospital, tge car we booked for that morning got faulty and we had to take a motorcycle to the hospital,
THE ACCIDENT.
Though the rain was drizzling a little and the road was a little messed up, we had no other alternative but the bike which was the fastest means of transportation, the bike I took carried I and my mum who sat in the middle, I didn't know why happened since I was at the back, just saying a prayer for my self for safe delivery, I don't know whether he driver encountered pothole or whatever, I just saw me flying off the bike and my mum and the driver falling on the ground, all my hospital list item that was in the bag and also my newly bought water flask got broken, some things were damaged, I was just speechless, cause I was wondering was happened.
But thank God I didn't sustain any injury only mum and the driver got scratched. To date I still can't explain how I jumped off the bike without falling and hitting my stomach or anything, I came out unharmed, though the driver apologize we didn't charge him for the damages that were done to baby items, we saved what we could and bought what need to be replaced, though it causes another huge amount of money, but i gave birth to my baby 4 hours later without any stress, which made the accident an history.

Favourite happy place
Hello people it's a great day today and a beautiful morning from this side, I am delighted to have finally had time to make a post on this topic, really I have been positioning to the point that I almost forgot the deadline was today, thank God I remembered, the topic,
>If you could pick a favorite "happy place," where would that be?
If I could pick a favorite "happy place" that would be my parent's house, really I will pick my parent's place because I feel this kind of joy whenever I go there to visit them, you know before I git married and left home I was always eager to stay away from home, even when I go to work I don't come back for a week until anyday I have an off day. So I think being away from home also at an early age made me not really like staying home, cause I was always travelling.
So when I finally stop travelling and also got a job I wasn't always home, and not long after I got married, I finally left home I felt the longing, as if I was missing something important in my life, so at any given opportunity to go visit my parents I would have this joy in me, whenever I am there, we sit as a family and we have fun, eat together, play together, I get this sense of happiness being there at their place, even if I go to places that are more high standard of relaxing ,I would still choose my parents place as my happy place.

Favourite meal ( beans)
Hello people , another edition for this week contest,

This topic is a tough one for me, I being a foodie and all, I don't have a particular food I love, as in I don't have a favourite food, what I eat depends on my mood for that day.
if I am to pick a favourite food, it will be ****BEANS****.
Why I love beans?
My reason is simple, it's because I can eat it with any thing, can be bread, yam, potatoes, Garri, corn, etc. It's a food that's goes at anytime for me.
How beans is prepared.
It's very simple, firstly you select the stones and dirt from the beans in a tray, after that you boil the beans in a pot until it becomes very soft to eat, then you put down the pot of already softened beans.
In a saucepan pour palmioil and let the oil become got, then add onions as much as you want, cause I personally like onion in my food, and then add salt to to oil, then it onion become soft then add your grinded pepper and tomatoes, you can add some reasoning cubes if you like, let a ingredients fry well, then you return the pot of softened beans to the gas and pour your pepper mixture in it and let all boil together and voila it is done.

You can garnish your beans with fish it crayfish it both together, its choice, also you can server with fried maintain, yam etc,.

Why do taking care of children falls mostly on the mother?
Hi everyone, a beautiful evening from this side, currently I am lying down on the cold tiled floor with my door wide open for the cool evening breeze to come in , regardless of mosquitoes that will soon start disturbing, well that's why they created insecticide.
Why do caring for children fall mostly on the mother, sometimes I wonder if there was a rule or law that states that only mothers can fully take care of children , in this part of the world (Nigeria) mothers are sole caregiver for the children , why the dad goes to work and all, even mothers that work still come back and continue the job, really I have been thinking if this was God Intial plan for women, cause if I remember correctly, the bike said women are to be help mates to their husband. But what I don't get is are women the only person who are qualified to care got their children or is it both of them job to care for children, okay you might be confused about what I mean, caring as in
Bathing them
Washing their clothes
Taking them to school and bringing them back home
Scolding them when they are wrong
Arranging their clothes
Doing their homework, etc
When the kids get injured ,the mothers are being scolded for it, seriously, who made the law?, I feel mothers and fathers should do these things together, well not in this part of the world, though there are men who do these but they are very rare, rare in sense that it has been concluded that children caring should be for mothers, for me I think it should be done together.

If I have 250 minutes to live the first person I would call would be my
1 MOTHER.
I Would call my mum, cause she has been a great woman to me, I wouldn't want to keep her in the dark, cause I know she has a very fragile heart.
Our conversation would go like this.
Mummy, how are you, hope you are good, mummy I want you to always be happy at all times, don't worry yourself about things that are not falling in place , like you want, it's not your fault that things aren't going smoothly, I want to try in every possible way to take care of yourself , and also please always create time to come check on jamiel and joella, you know you are the only grandma they know well and relate easily with?, mummy don't squarely with daddy anymore, he's has tried his best as father, but things aren't just going in ways he wants, and also know that I love you, I know I have been your favourite but you always try to make the affection you have for us to be equal. Mummy I love and I know you will miss me, but take good care of yourself, don't overwork yourself, do your best and leave the rest there's nothing God cannot do. VOLLEY BALL
Volley ball is a sport that played by two teams which comprises of six players , a net divides the two teams , so each team tried to score points by grounding the ball in the other teams courts, it is usually a hand ball, I think there's a rules that the ball can touch any part of the body not only the hand and it might not be against the rules.
In high school then we usually play this sport amongst us females, though it's both male and female sport, but then the male refers to play football, volley ball game is insterting to play for me because I easily get the rules and it's easy for me to play unlike other sports.
For volley ball , one can easily play , anyone can play without advance skills, u like football if you don't know how to play, those advanced player will just dribble you in the field.
What got my interest in volleyball then was a video game I and my cousins used to play while we were children, whenever we go visit them, we play video games indoor, cause they had a game room, but in high school I and some classmates of mine, whenever we had sport day in school that's every Wednesday we girls play volley ball, it so much fun and all.
There's no particular reason I like volleyball, it's just it what I can easily relate to or easily play throwing the ball up and hitting it with our hands to the opponents net, if they don't quickly move and it hits the ground we get a point, it's just fun for me to play volley ball.

Hello everyone, seriously I have been trying to make a post since yesterday but I couldn't come up with anything meaningful, do you also have this challenge? Let's share how we do overcome it.
Being busy with church and all, cause we are having our 16th year anniversary ,I have been having less sleep, with the children and taking care of the house and all, really it isn't easy, but I try to balance all my activities to make all moderate.

I don't know if there is any one who loves movie than I do, seriously I can say from the start if this year I have seen about 50 plus movies and still have some on my phone that I have even opened yet, also I'm selective of movies I watch , been a Nigerian I don't like watching nollywood movies, the only time I watch them are when I don't have any other movies to watch, movies I watch are Korean dramas, Hollywood movies, some Bollywood, and can't forget cartoons they are my favourite.

Hello everyone, a beautiful morning to you all, today I will be writing on this topic below
Traditional Beliefs: In each culture, there are beliefs that have been passed down through generations, in this era you probably find it difficult to relate to them. But they are still being practiced.
Every culture have what they belief in, I actually don't know any belief of my own tribe, but since I am married to a yoruba man, I think I should write about their own belief.
So they believe that immediately a woman becomes pregnant she she supposed to put a safety pin on her cloth were her stomach is, very yoruba pregnant woman do this and if an elderly Yoruba woman sees you being pregnant and you don't have a pin on your stomach , they will come to you and ask you why you aren't putting on a pin?.
It is believed that the pin prevent evil spirit or evil eye from the pregnancy, I remember then when I was pregnant, a woman approached me and was like you are not wearing a pin, I was just looking at her , and then I told her I am covered with the blood of Jesus, I don't believe in such things , only Jesus saves. She was then looking at me like I was rude to her, which I wasn't,I was only stating my own belief too.
Also they believe a pregnant woman shouldn't walk in the sun from 12pm-3pm because in the sun they can come in contact with spiritual evil child that may enter their unborn baby.
Well I personally don't believe in any superstition or believe that is not Christ.
With that I have nothing more to write about this topic. Christ is my only believe, when you got Christ, you become a touch not.

Traditional marriage of my tribe.
Good morning everyone, it a happy Tuesday from this side,today I will be writing about my tribe's traditional marriage.
Traditional marriages in my tribe is always a fun one cause there are a lot of things to be done and steps to take before the date is being selected for the marriage. First when a man and a woman decides to get married, the lady introduces the man to her parent first, then the parent asks the man to come with his people (that is his family ) for what we call ****introduction.**** So when they come together for the introduction there's always food and drinks and then they asks the woman if she is ready to get married to the man, and also the man pays his respect to the girls family, then from there they pick a date for the wedding after collecting the marriage list.
The marriage list usually consist of things they need the groom and his family to buy as tradition demands, and also it contains the bride price that would be collected from them, so from there they can either negotiate the list , like things they feel is too much or too small , from it they make adjustment , after that they leave and go to start planning for the traditional marriage.
The marriage usually takes place at the home of the bride or a venue of the bride family choice, the ceremony begins with the bride family welcoming the grooms family first and serving them with dishes of their tribe, this usually indicates that the bride would always take care if her husband, after their first meal, they start the celebration ceremony, when it's time for the bride to come out of her room for people to see her , they always make fake brides come out first before bring the real bride, this is usually done for fun and also to test the husband if he really knows the wife he want, finally the bride is ushered in , In a grand style, with women and young ladies all around her dancing and celebrating with her.
Food and drinks are been served at this point, after the bride comes out and dances with the groom, the MC will give instructions for the groom to now formally introduce his wife to his parent and then the bride takes drinks to them and offer them to drink and also to her own parents, then the parents pray for their children,
Next the the presentation of the items from the list and the exchange of rings, and cutting of the traditional marriage cake , then dance dance dance.
The way traditional marriages are done differs in every tribe and peoples way of life.

Hello everyone, how you all doing, hope you had a splendid day, so this post is a weekly contest from the newbie-initiative program, this edition is the week2 edition1 and the first topic is this,
****“A CULTURAL FESTIVAL”****
****Tell us all about a festival that holds in your country that is unique only to your people. And tell us why you enjoy it so much. Or if you don't.****
Initially I wanted to skip this first edition, because I thought I haven't been to any cultural festival, until I remember I was at a cultural festival at my mom's home town like 6years back, and I can't really remember the date by I know it was during the festive period,(December), then I asked my mom why they celebrate the cultural festival, she said it was to make people know more about their culture, and during this festival a lot of food are being prepared ranging from afang soup, ekpangnkukwo, etitaiwa, etc. though I can't remember all the details.
One other festival that is being celebrated here in my country is called the **Calabar festival,** the festival is celebrated at cross river state here In Nigeria, a lot of celebrities are invited, even people from other countries do attend, it a festival that many people go out on their way to sponsor, a lot of things are made available during the festival, their clothing for those who will be parading are made available, I actually haven't been opportune to attend this particular CALABAR FESTIVAL.
Because I am not a crowd kind of person, that why I would say I don't like being in such places, and also being a Christian it's against my belief to adore or cherish what is not God.( I'm not being religious)

Is this bad or not?(read below)
A happy Sunday to everyone, I hope you all had an awesome service,for those who attend church.
Normally in our church we usually do have Sunday school by 9am whereas the service starts by 9:30am.
A Sunday school is a kind of class that engages people to interact one on one with the teacher, a Sunday school is like an interactive class whereby the teacher teachers and the congregation asks questions after the class.
So today was one of those Sundays where there are rooms for questions, which brings me to my article of today, A woman asked a question today which got a lot of people giving their own answers she asked "if you are a business person and someone refers a client to you and the job you are to do for that person is worth $200 but the person who referred the client asked for you to put or add his own percentage because he referred you to the client now making the quoteation that will be sent to be around $300, is it a sin or a bad thing"
So when this question was thrown I was like it's a bad thing to do, but when I heard from others point of view , it got me thinking, with the present situation of the country, people tend to do jobs that are not even in their line of business, many people have become middlemen in other people line of job, take for example a friend of mine who rears catfish, snails, etc now takes job of constructing local ovens for cake and the rest, so you see when he gets job to creates oven and he give the job to the person who actually can construct it, he tends to tell the person to add his own cut of the money and bills the client.
So I want to know your own suggestions to this. Is it bad or not,? if not bad how do you justify it?

Being president for a day.
"President for a Day: We all have have the thought, at least at one time in our lives. If we were the President of our country we would do a lot of things.
So, we would love to know, if you were made the president of your country today, what are the first three things you will do for your country."
Truly sometimes when I look at things that are happening in the country,I would always wish in my mind that I was the president, that I would change quiet a lot of things, now since it was said that we have to pick just three things to change, it got me thinking a lot, What are the things I would love to change in this country( Nigeria).?
After much thinking and pondering on this I decided that my first thing to change if I become a resident for a day is
CREATING JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
Why I would make this my first priority is because , when you look at the rate at which young and even old people are into crime like stealing, killing , frauding, etc it is just too much because they want fast fast money, or easy money, I feel if the government has created an avenue whereas there were ways to start jobs after their schooling and all there wouldn't be such much crimes in the country.
The next thing I would change is
GIVING CONSTANT ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY
Yes, this is mostly one major issue we have in our country especially in my area, the power supply , if we are to rate it, it will be 2/100%, like seriously it's not just encouraging at all, that as citizen we are not able to enjoy the amenities being given to us. So if I were to be president, I would make sure that will be 24hours power supply.
Also the third thing I would like to change if I were to be president for a day, even if I have a lot of other things to write about , this next thing is what humans need to survive and if we cannot afford it, why is it a basic need of life?
MAKING FOOD PRODUCT AVAILABLE AND FOR A CHEAPER PRICE.
See we Nigerian are trying a lot because from the little job we have and to the salary been paid or income we receive we sent a lot on what goes into our stomach(food/drinks). For example a man who works in a company receives 30thousand naira(30000) at the end of the month, from the 30,000 he deduct a his transportation fare lets say 15,000 from it, he is left with 15000, he has children and a wife, he gives his wife her own monthly upkeep say 3000 and he has a list of things to get from the market of like 20000, how will he do it.? Seriously the rate at which we buy foodstuff is too expensive, if I were to be President for a day I would make the foodstuff to be available at a cheaper price so that peoples income won't be going to food alone, but is that they can use their income to achieve other things.

NEPA problems
NEPA simply stands for national electricity power authority this was their previous name until it was changed to PHCN Meaning power holding company of Nigeria. I can tell you that , for a week now we haven't had electricity, wish also has made me not to be able to post here like I used to or interact with other writers here, this has been a problem for me personally, not that we don't have a generator or something ,its just that with the rate at which petrol is being sold and even when you find a fueling station ,you still have to queue for hours until it gets to your turn , seriously I am just so sad and whatever right now.
According to the news it is said to be a national thing, so I don't know if you are experiencing this too if you are in this part of the world.
I just part it gets resolved so I can come back to my writing and all.

ONE WISH.
Hello people , hope you had a splendid day?.
If I had one wish to make that would definitely come true and why I would make such wish, after so much thoughts and given my present situation, I will wish to have enough funds at my disposal, one saying in our country is "money answers all things" , yes with the way things are in the county, people dying, or people killing their fellow humans just because they want to make money, it only takes the grace of God to be able to survive in such a country.
REASONS WHY I WOULD WISH TO HAVE MONEY/FUNDS.
Firstly, as a child I used to think when I grow up that I would have everything I ever wanted, but life gas its own plans, so my first reason is because, I would be an independent woman who will cater for herself not waiting on husband or anyone to provide everything for me.
Another reason is my mum, she's a true definition of a mum, I would wish to have money to take care of my mum, cause she has been there through the thick and thins, I always feel bad whenever she's going through one thing or the other and I am not able to help or support her at that very moment. I would really love to make her happy at all tines.
One other reason is my sister , recently she fell into a debt of 160000naira, which she had to sell her phone to pay part of the money, the boss has been threatening her like hell,so If I had enough funds I would have loved to help her pay it off, so that she can focus on education
Also every one I life needs money yes true, but the reason I picked this to be my wish is because I know if I had it I would have helped a lot of people who have crossed my path for one help or the other, I wouldn't have to give excuse to get out of the situation.
I would help those in need with my wish, if only wishes came true instantly, I would have that my dream business, I would achieve greater things. And my family wouldn't have to face money challenges, that's my wish.

Health is wealth
Hello people, its wonderful to write here again ,like seriously we don't know what we have until we lose it.
I have been down for the past few days being unable to look into mY phone and all, I never knew I could fall so sick, as in I hardly get sick, so it came a surprise to me, though I have been having the signs or symptoms of the sickness, I just ignore it ,until finally weighed Me down.
But thank God am back and better, yes better, one other thing that got me thinking about things health wise, is that , we recently lost a kindaof friend of the family whom we have known since our childhood, this man(Martin's) was sick or any thing, he was just said to have collapsed at his place of work since he worked with construction s company.
Earlier that day he died according to eye witness he went to buy food to eat after eating he came back to continue working one for him to lift the second bag of sand he was carrying to the place where they will mix cement, he just fell and hit his head on the ground, so the issue now is we don't know the cause of the death, he wasn't sick or anything.
So I tried to guess ,cause knowing the ki and if person he was he liked overworking himself, now he is dead,I cried for him and his family, cause he was a jovial person.
That's why I advised people who do hard jobs take a lot if rest, cause the work you are doing ,if something goes wrong the company will employ another staff.
I hope you are taking that desired rest your body needs?.
Don't overstress yourself because of the money you will be paid, rememember health is wealth .

My adult life and what I wish to change if I have the power.
As a child , growing up was fun because we in our little mind then had everything we ever wanted, ranging from clothes,shoes, jewelries, etc, we had them all. That every celebration period we always had something new to wear,and good stuff to eat, we always had our mind set on outings to the amusement park, or wherever interesting was available .
When I got to high school,that's was when the jolly life of having everything turn into always asking for things I didn't have from my parents, in my mind I was like when I am older I would be able to buy whatsoever I want, little did I know that life was a bed of roses, to some extent, I started blaming my parents for all the things I didn't have.
But immediately I clocked 18years old, though I finished from secondary school at 16year s old , being unable to go to the university immediately after I finished I started doing jobs,in order to carter for my immediate needs , still with my parents I was like I can survive on my own.
My plans growing up was I would start university immediately after school, after university I would get a good job and also get married etc. but things didn't go that way. my life went from starting a jib at age 16-17, didn't go to the university , I got married at the age of 22yearsold, I presently have two kids, also starting part-time study in a good university in this year.
so what we felt we could easily achieve as an adult when we were children didn't quiet go that way, but the gift of life itself is sufficient for me.
ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT MY ADULT LIFE.
My adult life, one thing I really love and care about is the fact that I gave birth early, reason why I love this , is that i am able take care of my children in my youthful age, yes I am legally married and all, I appreciate the fact that I would be able to nurture my children well with enough time to spend with them.
Not that I am mocking those in my age range haven't gotten one or married, but it was my choice then to either follow the world or get married band stick to one partner. I love my kids , that's the most important part of my adult life, I am happy to be a young mother at ,24 years old, my first son would be 4yearsold in may,while my daughter will clock 1year in may too.
WHAT I WOULD WISH TO CHANGE IF I HAVE THE POWER.
so many things I would have wished to change , but one things that I would have really wished was I wished that my parent didn't go broke at that time of their life, cause I know that if things were really okay for them ,then I would have been able to achieve all my set plans as I grew, really I think maybe things with us would have been more better than now.
seriously I think if I have that power or that foresight of how things would have went, I would have advised my patent then on how to manage their income,and save for the rainy days.

One of my tribe main dish.( Ekpang nkukwo)
So many tribes have a particular dish or dishes / meals that are the head of all meals, especially when you go to parties,the tribe of the people celebrating will determine what the dishes will be.
As you all know I am from the south-south region of Nigeria,and I take pride in my cooking abilities,let's say I make good dishes,so for we akwaibom's we have alot of dish that represents us wherever we go for celebration, or whenever we have something to celebrate, there's a list of dishes
Afang soup,Atama soup, Editan soup ,Afia afere, ekpangnkukwo, otum mboro, etc. Let's me stop here, see the thing is gave alot, but today I will be writing about the EKPANGNKUKWO.
EKPANGNKUKWO is a dish made from wateryam and cocoyam, shortly I will be giving the ingredients and recipe. This dish is so nutritious in vitamins , carbohydrates ( for strength), I would say it contains alot of nutrients for the body, one thing about this dish is when you have had one bite of it , you would always want more .

Scent leaf
Pumpkin leaf / the fresh leaf just growing from a cocoyam plant.
Crayfish
Stockfis
Palmoil
Seasoning
Dryfish
Cowskin/any other protein of your choice
Salt to taste
Onion.
1.So the first step is to peel and wash your wateryam and cocoyam, then you take a grater and grate them together , after grating , to the yam mixture You chopp some onion to it,add seasoning,salt,pepper,and mix well
2.In a pot add the palmoil first and some onion, then the washed periwinkles.
3 then you take either the pumpkin leaf or the soft cocoyam plant that You have already washed and start wrapping the yam mixture in the leaf . Like this.
And carefully place them in the pot, you then add another palmoil, seasoning that would be enough for the cooking your dryfish,stockfish that Hass been a little steamed,etc. But don't add the scent leaf yet so as to not kill the nutrient of it.
4 then placed in the gas or whatever you use for cooking , then add hot water or already hot beef broth to the pot,
5 cover and let it cook well, though it might start burning quickly ,but make sure it is properly cooked, so you can always check when you see the steal coming from the pot , then finally add the scent leaf to give it good flavour.
And tada it's done. You see this dish ,many count it as a stressful cooking cos if the time it takes to cook.
I remember last year I was having a craving of this meal while I was pregnant with my daughter, and because I was the only one who was willing to go through the stress I started perping the meal at 6pm and it was finally done around 10pm , that day I can never forget, but you know I ate to my satisfaction.
There's no akwaibom gathering that you go to ,that they wouldn't serve thus meal.it has alot of nutritional benefits and it filling too.

African beans soup
Good morning world from this side, yea your south- south Nigerian chef is here again with another mind blowing delicacy.
Have you heard of beans soup? Well I know some other part of the country have away of preparing their own beans soup, but I tell you this western Nigeria version is supereb.
It so wonderful how you can make beans to become soup. I have had lot of orders for this particular dish though I am not from their tribe, according to one of my customers he said we from the south-south region have away with how we cook, that our meal always taste different. I don't know how true it is but I tell you this beans soup was so delicious.
Okay here's how it's been made
Ingredients needed
Beans
Pepper
Seasoning
Salt to taste
Oil
Etc
Procedures .
There are different ways of doing this but let me just give this simple explanation.
Firstly select the beans ( that is pick out the dirt from the beans)
Then put in a pot to boil until soft.
After then put in a bowl and smash until it blended properly or you can blend the boiled beans.
Put in strainer and strain the shaft, we only need the liquid part for the soup.
Then turn the strained beans in apot add your seasoning and all and bring to a boil.
There you have it.
Voila.
Serve with stew( like my locust beans stew) and Amala( processed yam made into swallow).

Hello beautiful people, how is your day going?, Mine is going well though I am hungry, yea I am , not that I don't have what to eat it just that , I recently tumbled on a picture of a long time friend of mine , who actually was on a big side as at 2 years ago, that's she was fat then, presently she has two kids ,just like me but she has totally reducer in weight and has been posting her pictures of wearing skimpy dresses, according to her she sells clothes , shoes wigs,etc. And she needs to advertise her product by herself. I was stunned , so I ask her how did she do it( how did you lose so much weight), she said" I just watch what I eat" ehn, when you just had a baby?.
So I showed her picture to my husband who in turn told me I eat too much,which as brought me to go hunger strike, as in I haven't been a slim person ,even when I was single, but I really don't eat too much , I just take my moderate meal. I sometimes skip breakfast, cause I heard somewhere that breakfast contains the most calories one can get, so I have been skipping most of my breakfast.
How can one tell if he or she is eating too much?
Well me I don't know, I can say,but I believe the one should eat a balance diet meal, so as to get all nutrients the body needs, both men and women .
This is how my meal in a day goes.
In the morning I take water or juice.
In between lunch I snack on cookies or biscuits , sometimes I take only mik
For lunch it either I eat rice or beans or I combine them together .with stew and fish.
For evening and my last meal for the day I go with bread and tea or I take swallow and soup.
So I really don't know if this is eating much, how do you see my breakdown of food.

New born alert/ gender prediction error.

Good day wonderful people, hope you are having a stress free day?
It's wonderful to have a new born ,the experience is exciting and trilling,my friend good friend had a baby girl on Saturday, I am so happy for her, though this is her second child , but every child is unique in his or her own way
This friend of mine got married in November 2019, but she was pregnant when she got married , she gave birth to a girl then too and because her husband is almost 40 years of age, so they decided to have another baby after their daughter clock a year and 2months.
Because of our closeness she do tell me things , like when she goes for antenatal and all, she tells me , so because she wanted a male child she went on to buy baby boys clothes and was praying on it,In my mind I knew she wouldn't give birth to a boy, cause the pace at which she got pregnant again was too fast I didnt want to tell her that I was just praying along with her. Though if God had said she would birth a boy ,she would regardless of the pace or not.
So Saturday night she called me , though In my mind she wasn't sounding trills or eexicted I was just screaming fir joy on the phone, but I knew her mind. So it's a baby girl again.
Have you ever had a time when you though you were having a particular gender and when you gave birth ,you 'didn t give birth to want your heart wanted?
Yes and also my friend went for scan but she told them to conceal the gender for her. But I feel for her one way or the other
But that said I am happy for the new baby, as I am writing I am on my way to her house.
