I took this photo in the summer, the flowers now are all preparing for winter. I miss seeing the flowers in the winter but I always look forward to spring and try to notice other beautiful things in the winter season

@Totocaro

Autumn is here, the weather is getting colder ready for winter

This is my mum's new dog, Gemma. We were lucky enough to meet her about 10 days ago when we visited my mum. She looks very similar to my mum's last dog but much more petite! My son, who has autism, particularly enjoyed meeting her and they got along well.

My parents have always loved going on narrowboats, and we have had many family holidays and days out on and around the canals. This picture is from October 2010. In more recent years my parents haven't been able to manage a canal boat so well, but we all have many fond memories of our time on the canals.

See Palling in Norfolk, these are potato fields protected by man-made sand dunes from the sea beyond.

This was Jasper, my mum's dog, sadly he is no longer with us. My parents got him when the children were very small so they've grown up with him, we all miss him very much. My mum now has a new dog, same breed and colouring as this one, her name is Gemma and we're looking forward to seeing her soon.

I'm enjoying these last few flowers that are still blooming despite the weather turning autumnal now

We stayed at a guest house, Strumyki, in Kwilcz, Poland, this was the view from the back of the house. They have their own vineyard, and we enjoyed trying the wine. We had nice walks in the forest and swimming in the lakes.

@Totocaro

Lake near Kwilcz, Poland. I like the ripples on the water. I went here in August 2019 and enjoyed wild swimming in the lakes.

I took this photo in July 2019, it is my mother's garden. I like the silhouette of the roses against the sky and the way that you can just see the red colour of them against the blue. It was a lovely hot summer's day.

@Totocaro

While we were camping near Scotland we took a little walk at Pollock Country Park, it was a lovely area to explore and I hope we go back one day to explore it further

@Totocaro

I love flowers and sharing pictures of them. This is a gazania, I’d planted them in pots at the start of summer and now they’re really doing well.

@Totocaro

I like taking my two sons camping, we only go about once a year for a couple of days at a time, but it’s a really good experience for all of us. I didn’t try camping until I was in my twenties, but now I’m glad I can share this with my sons. It’s good to get them out into a more natural environment and away from the city. #Photography

@Totocaro

I love taking photos of flowers and nature, there is so much beauty around us if we stop to open our eyes and see it. #Photography

@Totocaro

On holiday on the Isle of Eigg, three years ago. It’s my favourite place to be, there’s beautiful beaches, the Sgurr, and lots of places to walk. I hope we can go back next year. #Photography

@Totocaro

When we were camping near Glasgow recently we stopped at Pollock Country Park, the house and grounds were lovely, we only had a quick walk there, but if we’re in the area again I’ll definitely go back here. #Photography

@Totocaro

An area not too far from where I live, I like how the walk has been built around the tree. Nature and conservation is important here. Dunham Massey, Cheshire, U.K. #Photography

I don’t often pick flowers from the garden, but the hydrangea bushes are full of flowers and I thought it would be nice to bring the outside in #PlantsNature

@Totocaro

At the start of summer I planted some bedding plants in pots to put at the front of the house, it gets more shade than at the back of the house so they have been slow to bloom. But it’s a lovely reward to finally get a flower.

This is a wind pump we visited recently in Norfolk, it was used to drain the land of water, powered by the wind. It is currently being refurbished but you can still go inside and see how it works. They used an electric pump now. The interesting thing about this wind pump is that the entire white cap part that the sails are attached rotates fully around the building meaning that the sails can move to catch the wind effectively. #Photography

While we were on holiday in Norfolk, England, we visited a garden, East Rushton Old Vicarage Gardens. They had the most gorgeous display of flowers, with some open spaces, topiary, statues and other things to look at.

@Totocaro

A beautiful beach in South Uist, Outer Hebrides. The beaches here are amazing, but the weather is a little chilly. I took this picture a few years ago, we haven’t travelled there recently due to pandemic restrictions.

@Totocaro

A painting on the beach front showing the way to the waves 🌊 I took this photo at Sea Palling beach in Norfolk, England this summer.

@Totocaro

A view of Edinburgh Castle - I love visiting Edinburgh there is so much history there and so many beautiful things to see.

@Totocaro

I always enjoy taking photos with my phone, it’s kind of a hobby for me, I find it relaxing. This is Laig Bay on the Isle of Eigg, one of my favourite places. I hope we can go back there next year. #Photography

@Totocaro

My baby succulents are growing nicely now

@Totocaro

Happy Friday Everyone - this flower is from my garden, I planted some wildflower seeds in the spring.

@Totocaro

A wildflower garden bed in a walled garden near Glasgow, I visited here last week #PlantsNature
