After the vaccine is injected both doses in a person, he becomes sanitised. But this requires 28 days gap between the two doses after the first dose is given. The first dose may be given, say, on 15/1/21. That means the person will be immune to the virus after 12/2/21(28 days gap). In effect, nearly 2 months from now! But the so called second wave of pandemic is already knocking at our doors! Therefore, we must not become wary and loosen our guard against the Covid19 yet.

The vaccines are obviously a very positive development, not least because of the extremely high effectiveness rates. However, only the first step toward a return to social and economic normality; taking into account approval, production, and distribution hurdles, I continue to assume that effective immunization could be widely available by the middle of next year.
