To be more productive, that's what we all want, right?

In every office (and every social circle), there are people who seem to be able to "get everything done", get more work done accurately and faster than other people. They leave work on time. We want to be like them anytime, but we don't know their productivity secrets.

How do they do what they do? By doing a little research into the habits of the most productive people we found:

1. Have a specific time for daily planning:

Usually in the morning or evening 5-10 minutes leave aside to think about the tasks for that day (or the next day) and outline how these tasks will be accomplished.

2. They complete quick tasks immediately:

If an urgent task suddenly appeared in their minds and requires less than 5 minutes of their time, the productive person executes it immediately, which eliminates the need to write it or try to remember it at a later time or if he is distracted by his preoccupation with it.

3. Arrange a list of daily chores according to importance:

When today's list is too long to actually complete in 24 hours, this list is rearranged to reflect the absolute basics. They start with the most important, then the least important. 4. Not only do they set goals, but they also set a timeline for implementation: A goal without a timeline is like a recipe without ingredients. It is great to set goals for yourself, but you need to break them down and set time limits for the different action items involved (like steps in a recipe) or the goal will seem difficult to overcome from the start, and it will not have any urgent need to implement it. With a schedule, you won't feel lost or overwhelmed, and more than that you'll be motivated to avoid distractions, while focusing your eyes on achievement.

4. They consider sleep a top priority:

Not getting enough sleep is a definite sabotage of productivity. After a day you slept less than seven hours, you'll be slower, less focused, and less motivated. Studies have shown that even if you think you are "productive" after a night of insufficient sleep, objective measures of brain activity will show that your productivity is lower. Productive people know that the minimum required sleep of seven hours every night is not a luxury, nor an option, but rather a necessity to live an optimally productive life. So they put this in mind, and they organized the days, set work priorities, and set the time to go to bed and wake up at a fixed time, so that their minds and bodies would do their job at peak ability. While some of us instinctively have more motivation than others, highly productive people, I believe, were not born like this but made and can be recreated with life changing events!

5. Define and use their productivity window:

No one is able or willing to work with the same vigor and focus throughout the day. Productive people know when they are the most productive of the day and use that time to tackle the most important or those tasks that require the most focus.

6. They know when they can or cannot handle multitasking:

Multitasking may have its flaws, but productive people understand that sometimes it works, for example: when you brainstorm ideas for a project and you walk in the morning. They also know, to distinguish between multitasking and mere distraction, logging into Facebook every 10 minutes in the workplace, that's the distraction.

7. Use planning and scheduling that benefits their lifestyle:

Productive people adjust the rhythm of their lives between their private and family tasks to suit their nature and the nature of their assigned tasks, so that nothing is accomplished at the expense of another aspect of their lives.

8. They care to take a break:

It may seem unexpected, that the work from sunrise to sunset is not followed by the productive person. Regular breaks for things like food and water, and movement make people more effective and efficient, so we see all producers care about downtime.

9. Realistic in determining the time for tasks:

If you reduce the time you spend, for example, writing a report or cleaning your home, you will inevitably fall behind in what you do. On the other hand, if you overestimate a task too long, it will not be as effective as it should be. Productive people find that area where they can make an accurate estimate of how long it will take to accomplish something, taking into account breaks every now and then for inevitable rest. 10. They have someone to hold them accountable: Productive people are open about what they want to achieve in a day, week, month, or year because they don't want those who follow them to be disappointed.

11. They seek perfection, but when it is necessary:

If every task, no matter how small, must be completed without flaw or error, nothing will ever be finished. Pursuit of perfection can be a help or a hindrance, depending on the importance and the benefit achieved, so performance with quality and mastery is required, but exaggeration in perfection disrupts the work and is difficult to achieve. (The message to request a job? Where you must reach perfection. A message to one of your relatives? Just the disappearance of typos is good, and perfection is not required. Clarity and organization are required).

12. Delegate in a correct way:

This means delegating a reasonable number of tasks that are commensurate with the skill level of the person delegated to him, and they always say please, and thank you. Choose the right people and in the right manner.

13. They appreciate what has been achieved and do not focus on what has not been done:

Like most things in life, being a product requires good manners. At the end of the day, look on the bright side and choose to see accomplishments rather than focus on mistakes. This means that you will feel better, sleep better, and be better prepared to be productive again tomorrow.

14. They control the technology, not the other way around:

Productive people understand that it is worthwhile not to be slaves of technology. Not only will there always be something new and exciting to look at, social media can absorb time even with the most willpower. With less time in a day, you will simply find yourself in a state of astonishment when you discover that you have inadvertently spent an hour or more on Facebook. Productive people set the time to respond to emails, or follow their news on Facebook, and then turn away from technology so that their time is not stolen without them realizing.

15. Take a rest Strategic:

Many destined people are forcing themselves to take a break, if only for 3-5 minutes, every 90 minutes or so. It prevents them from falling from stress, provides focus, and gives the mind and body a break. Go get some water (or refill your coffee cup), then get back to work afterwards. You will find that you are much more productive than when you sit for long periods of time.
