Forgotten Words

There are forgotten days...

when the world becomes

too much that your pen

doesn't work

You can only have staring

contests with paper

No one ever wins

because the paper doesn't

even know you're

playing a game

It's you versus yourself

and time is wasting away

as nothing is being written down

but on some days, you just

can't fully write it down

as the pen doesn't want

to work...why can't

you work today?

There are important things

here or things that I think

are important here that

need to be down on paper

Why doesn't this pen work today?

Sometimes the world gives you

too much that the pen doesn't

want to work and it stinks

worse than garbage

No one longs to forget

their days but it happens

....it happens

....it happens
