Socialization between parents and children is not a one-way process. Parents do socialize children. But socialization in families is reciprocal. It is hampered greatly in case of variety of family context. Different researchers have found that promoting marital satisfaction often leads to good parenting. This relationship has an important effect on good parenting. Parents are become more affectionate to their children when they are more intimacy and better communication in their marriage. But in variety family all these positive effects are hampered greatly day by day.
Complex parental life carries some characteristics like-
1. Working parents:
Now-a-days, many parents spend the greatest part of their day away from their children, even their infants sometimes. Outside work may produce positive and negative effects on parenting life. Parents with poor economic condition, such as over time work, work long time, work long hours, stressful works are likely to be more stressed and irritable at home in the most times. That’s why they are less effective in their parenting than the better situation parents. Working parents has no impact on children’s happiness, especially mother but the enjoyment of children is much important. But some parents find their quality of life improves when one is able to stay home. They spent their time with kids and they give value it also. It may also help everyone in the household experiences.
2. Divorced parents:
A child often feels that his world has turned upside down in a divorced family. Divorced family rates are increasing dramatically in worldwide at present. And this rate varies country to country. It is estimated that 40 percent parents are divorced in their married life in USA. Normally children from divorced parents can poor adjustment wit others than their counterparts in non divorced families. The children from divorced families face different problems in different sections in life like academic problems, externalized problems such as acting out, delinquency. Again face internalized problems such as depression, anxiety etc. they are less socially responsible, drop out of school, sexually active at early age, associated with antisocial peers, addicted with drugs. These type of children are less security attached as young adults. The girls from divorced parents are suffering depression more.
3. Step families:
The number of remarriages with children has grown in recent years. Half of all children whose parents divorce will have a stepparent within four years of the parent’s separation. The divorced parents renegotiate the biological parent-child relationships and also establish stepparent, stepchild, and step sibling relationships. Sometimes, due to spouse death step family may have been preceded. These common types of step family structure are:

· Stepmother and
· Blended or complex
In stepfather family, mother typically has custody of the child and remarried. Here introducing with stepfather.

In blended or complex family, both parents bring the children from past marriages to live in a newly formed family.

I. Cultural variation: cultural variation is coming to the families in many countries around the world. This is occurred due to some reasons like family mobility, migration to urban areas, and separation as some family members’ works in town far from home, smaller families, the extension of maternal employment. It’s true that when several generations live far from each other, children may lose support and guidance from their grandparents, aunts and uncles.
II. Socio-economic variation:
Socio economic status varies according to income level of parents. Low income families have less access to resources the higher income families. The differential includes the availability of resources like nutrition, health care, education, treatment.
5. Ethnic minority parenting:
Families with different ethnic groups differ in different sections like size, structure, reliance, composition, kinship networks, income levels, education pattern etc.
A greater of variety family contexts has great impact on the growing children and their emotions development. So, parents have to be more conscious about the complexity of their parental life as well as their children.
Good parenting involves a great deal of consistency and routine, which gives children a sense of control. Good parenting focuses on developing independence in children, so redundancy becomes the aim for parents. Good parenting involves a style that considers children's age and stage of development.
