Connect your MEW wallet to MetaMask

Hello,

I read an interesting article about METAMASK (Crypto Newbies - Set Up Your First ERC20 Compatible Wallet, Metamask) so I installed MetaMask for chrome.

Then I wondered if I can access my MEW wallet from MetaMask and I did some research and found that I can do that. So If you want to connect your MEW wallet to MetaMask follow these steps:

Step 1: Install MetaMask extension to your browse

Go to the MetaMask website and follow the instructions to install the extension.

If you already have MetaMask, skip this Step.

Step 2: import your MEW wallet to MetaMask

Click on "Import Account" link:

If you select the "Private Key" option paste it and click "Import".

Option 2: import using JSON file

If you select the "JSON File" option select the file and enter the password you use to access your MEW wallet then click "Import".

GREAT and well done. Now you have two accounts and you can access your MEW account on MetaMask as well.

You can change the account's name to "MEW account" as I did.
