Bitcoin (BTC) still doesn’t scale.  Hope for a break in correlation with alts, because so long as they follow Bitcoin’s price, altcoins will stay low like they’re looking for the deep sea floor.

Ethereum 2.0 (ETH) is the real Ethereum killer.  Think about it, no matter your opinion of the original Ethereum on Proof of Work, it still applies.

Solana (SOL) went offline again.  Still, it's a newer project, and when compared to Ethereum’s failures, it’s not so bad, because ETH fees are often so high it’s not worth using which I would consider worse than occasional downtime.

The first recorded Bitcoin tx (transaction) was in Florida, for two pizzas equivalent to a $40 USD value at the time.  That $40 equivalent went well over 400,000,000 USD in equivalency at ATH (All-Time High). That's still $20 a pizza in 2010, though, come on, Florida.

BitcoinCash (BCH) tx fees are insanely high, usually below 0.00c USD!  Wait, did I say high?

Binance Smart Chain smart contracts majorly outnumber Ethereum’s smart contracts.  BSC is based on Ethereum’s code.  What went wrong - or should I say, what went right?

My nose is bleeding, and I already had a blood draw for lab tests this morning.  I’ll keep writing with the toilet paper in my nose, it’s a male writer's tampon.

China banned cryptocurrencies.  The market barely shrugged as miners moved both east and west, and people in China continue to use crypto and bypass “The Great Firewall” routinely.  Don’t get caught!

When Bitcoin finishes its laborious process of mining a total of 21 million coins, less than 17.3 million coins will be accessible due to lost wallets.  Whoops.

Do you know what tx fees and times will be when Bitcoin is finished mining?  No one actually knows, but given the current ATH in hash rate, it won’t be much as miners will only profit in transactions, not breaking blocks.  Miners are likely racing to a red light.

Satoshi Nakamoto still has a very large carbon footprint.

Alaska used to belong to Russia.  No, they can’t have it back, the USA bought it, and annexing is a war crime.  Long live Ukraine.

Einstein could have been the President of Israel.  He declined.

Crazy rich people making animal memes isn’t new.  In ancient Rome, Julius Ceasar made one of his horses a senator.  Take that, Elon Musk.

King Tut was the product of incest, his parents were brother and sister per DNA results.  Game of Thrones may have taken a note out of his tomb.

Projects that adapt will survive.  People who hold high from the bottom will thrive.

For those who don’t think software evolution is important - William Shanks, a 19th-century mathematician spent his entire life calculating the exact digits of pi.  He calculated the first 527 digits, and then incorrectly calculated the following 180 digits.  A dinosaur computer in 1958 calculated them in under a minute, followed by another 10,000 digits.
