MyDefiPet is another young, albeit dev-troubled, play-to-earn opportunity in the crypto world. Its pet staking feature is finally live, and pet owners now have the option to earn some DPET tokens when staking a maximum of three of their pets.
If you want to join the fun, here's how:
Get a MyDefiPet account
Getting an account is easy, you just have to connect your wallet to their network. Personally, I'm using Metamask on Binance Smart Chain.
Grab some DPET
DPET is the game's native coin. Convert some of your BNBs or USDTs to DPET to get started. You're going to need at 3 DPET to purchase an egg.
Buy an egg
Pets come from eggs, which is why you'll need one. You can purchase as many pets as you want and level them up. You can also breed your own pets to chance upon rare ones.
Farm
To level up a pet, you're going to need to do some farming. Don't worry, there are a few resources available that can get you started. You can also purchase bigger and better crops and cages as you go along.
Stake
Once your pets are eligible for staking, you lead them to the center, get them approved, and send them for hunting. You don't have to do anything beyond that, except waiting for 30 days until they return. When they do, you'll have a few more DPET in your stash.
MyDefiPet is still under development, which means there will be more opportunities to earn awaiting players in the future. For now, this is how you can get those pets working for you!
