One of my favorite margaritas. It is a BlackBerry margarita that (this particular one) can only be found at a restaurant here in the US called, Chiles. 🍸
Hey, 💙🖤💙 It's just me.
Sometimes it's hard to let go. Maybe I need to remember that first step to overcoming FEAR. 🤔🚶♀️💪 https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/the-first-step-to-overcoming-fear-ef60bc01
Oops Bitcoin did it again. 🎤🎵🎶 Down for the count at the moment, so I'm venturing out to other projects and podcasting episodes like this one about the narcassists in my life. 🎧🎙👇👇👇👇 https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/8-How-to-Identify-a-Narcissist-in-Your-Life-egjsqi
🍋Today is a lemon water kind of day. 🍋 I'm sitting here listening to The Wellness Remodel, sipping my lemon water because I need this in my life. 💪
Well, we are back in the negative with bitcoin. Sigh. Up and down, up and down. It's like having mood swings on a daily basis, so nothing new there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good Morning, It's my day off, yet here I am. 😂 On some days I work on my art. The photo is of one of my more recent art pieces that I'm still working on. I have a few ideas in mind that I'm going to finish with this piece. I'm really hoping that the best I found will be perfect, but we will see. 🕷🕸

I can't believe it was nearly a year ago this week that I recorded my 7th podcast episode! My passion is about working from home and still is! 💒 https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/7-3-Reasons-Why-You-Are-Failing-as-an-Entrepreneur-eg680s
Decided to try a product sent to me by the company. I have mixed feelings about it! It's supposed to be great for your immunity and give you a boost of energy. 🤔 My Experience: 🔴 It felt dehydrating to my body. It was like drinking a sweet tea or one of those energy drinks like redline, but without that jittery feeling. 🔴 It made my face numb for a few minutes. 🔴 It gave me a small boost on energy. So the real question is, would I take it again? ✔No. Why? ✔ Because I didn't like the dehydration effect or the numbing sensation it gave me even if it was for only a few months!
It's a wet and cloudy morning here. The plan was to sleep in a little on my day off, but day off? Ha ha ha! What's that? At least my moment is currently enjoyable with a cup of coffee and a little plant-based heavy whipping cream. It's not my perfect cup of coffee ( notice the curdle) but it is a better cup than most, for now! ☕
I love all natural and a garden that doesn't grow by pesticides. The only thing I do to the garden is water it. No chemicals! 🍅🌶🥒🍓 #OrganicFood
This past week the anticipated grand opening of Scooters Coffee became official. It would be several days before I got to try it, but today was the day! I ordered the caramelicious iced coffee with a double shot of espresso. Sinful and delicious! 🥤😋 #CoffeeAddicts
A few peppers fresh from the garden. These beauties are known as, "The Fool You" jalapeno. They look, smell and taste like a jalapeno, but without the heat! 🌶
Today I'm reminiscing about a laptop I thought was mine, but was really a narcissist's. 💻 #thefightwithinher https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/the-ungifter-3a957143
The Ungifter Chances are if you are reading this article, you have had someone give you a gift, only to take it back. Yes, it sucks, but you are not alone. At one time in my life, I was also the victim of an ungifter. I was given a laptop that I was very grateful for at the time because my laptop wasn't working. They had no use for it and I might as well have it, I was told. So I installed all of my work on the laptop only to be asked by the person that had given me the laptop if they could borrow it for the day, a few months later. Of course, thinking it was just for the day, I loaned them my laptop only to discover later that it had been given away to someone else, their response, *"You weren't using it."* To this day it is a hurtful reminder to not always put my trust into everyone who gives me a gift and it poses the question, How do you deal with someone who is an ungifter? It depends on the type of person you are dealing with. **If your ungifter is a narcissist**, try not to accept the gift from them, to begin with. If they refuse to allow it, politely accept the gift, but think of it as a loan only because a narcissist can turn on you at any given moment. In their mind, even though they have given you a gift, it's really theirs, not yours. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/8-How-to-Identify-a-Narcissist-in-Your-Life-egjsqi If you are dealing with someone who is simply being a jerk, for example, an ex who wants something back, you could just give it back if you don't want to be reminded of that relationship. If you feel that the gift is really yours and you don't want to part with it or that item is no longer in your possession, you could talk to your local law enforcement about your situation to see if there is anything you can do. If all else fails, there is always the option of going to court over the gift, but is it really worth that?

A few weeks ago I went fishing. During my trip, I decided to take advantage of mother nature and photograph my visit. #thefightwithinher #MyPhotos
On this month one year ago I started talking about used bras 👙 on my podcast and people loved it! If you think I'm kidding, I would love your opinion. You can also find the podcast episode on Spotify Radio under The Fight Within Her 🥊🥊 https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/2-Used-Bras--and-Why-You-Should-Never-Put-All-of-Your-Eggs-into-One-Basket-as-an-Entrepreneur-eev0ko
Well, here we go again. Updating podcasts and knocking out articles on Self-Sabotage. 🥊🥊 https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/how-you-could-be-self-sabotaging-your-success-64cb245b
How You Could Be Self-Sabotaging Your Success One of the biggest reasons we often find ourselves failing in life is because of a negative mindset. Whether it is self-sabotage with negative talk or listening to others who don't want us to become successful, it's a contagion that can destroy our lives if we let it. A **negative mindset** can lead to depression, stress, anxiety and a number of other health issues that can keep us from living our life to the fullest. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/7-3-Reasons-Why-You-Are-Failing-Yourself-as-an-Entrepreneur-eg680s The best way to prevent negativity from controlling your life is by challenging those thoughts that are harmful. For example, when you find yourself saying, I can't do this, tell yourself, I can do this, instead. If changing your mindset is a challenge you are having difficulty with, focus on the strengths that you already possess instead. For example, if you are great at baking, maybe focus your success on creating gourmet cheesecakes to sell for special occasions. If you find that you're surrounded by others who only bring you down, maybe it's time to distance yourself from those **toxic relationships**. You could even take it one step further by removing those negative relationships from your life entirely. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/8-How-to-Identify-a-Narcissist-in-Your-Life-egjsqi Then, start surrounding yourself with people who are positive. Find those who have goals similar to yours, and have already had success. Become motivated by them! Focus your attention on what they are doing and follow them. If you want to succeed, you have got to be willing to focus on the positive and kick the negative mindset to the curb. You have got to stop self-sabotaging your success!

Working on articles and podcasts at the moment. Just trying to play catch up in a way! Today I talked about the book that changed my life: https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/10-traits-of-a-narcissist-3b8e7e2a
10 Traits of a Narcissist Many years ago, I was at a yard sale when I came across a book called, ***"Why is it Always About You?"*** I picked it up on a whim without reading the back cover, assuming it would be a self-help book for me. As it turned out, the book was not about me. It was about the narcissists in my life. https://amzn.to/3db4zE7 Needless to say, that book opened my eyes in so many ways. Since then, I have learned so much more about narcissism and the noticeable traits of those who may have the mental disorder including: Best of the Best - A narcissist generally has to be the very best at everything they do. They are a competitor out to win and losers are not tolerated in their game. You must be ready and willing to play to just barely under their level, but never beyond it. They must always be in control, always. *A good example of a narcissist who must be the best at everything they do is:* `A co-worker who outdoes and outshines at his job. He is at the top of his game and he will tell you about it. He may attempt to take charge even if he is not your boss and try to make you follow his ideas, his rules.` Lack of Responsibility - A narcissist will often refuse to take responsibility for their actions or mistakes and will even try to blame it on someone else, usually someone they often talk about, but you have rarely met or they could even direct their blame at you. *A good example of a narcissist who refuses to take responsibility for herself is:* `A spouse who forgot to make the rent payment again. Her husband asks what happened to which she replies, "Well, I would have made that rent payment if my co-worker hadn't stopped me after work to ask about next week's schedule. And you know, you could have called to remind me, so it's your fault the rent payment didn't get made!"` No Boundaries - Narcissists have no boundaries. They will find a way to get exactly what they want no matter the cost. They will even go to great links by throwing a family member under the bus if it will benefit them. *A good example of a narcissist who has no boundaries is:* `Your husband wants to buy a new guitar, but the budget is tight this month because it's your daughter's sweet sixteen party and it was already planned months in advance. You explain to him why it's not possible this month, but you could fit it into the budget next month, only to discover a few days later he bought the guitar using the money you had saved for the birthday party. His reason, he thought it was extra money and he had no idea that you were planning a party for her.` No Empathy - A narcissist will have no empathy for those in his or her life even though it may appear differently at work. He or she doesn't care about anyone, but himself or herself and will do what it takes to advance themselves even if they must pretend. In general, a narcissist who is in a relationship will most likely show no empathy, even if your health depended on it. *A good example of a narcissist who shows no empathy is:* `Maybe a boss at work knows you have the flu, but demands that you come into work anyway and suck it up because you're a wimp and will never get anywhere in life because you let the flu and you being on your feels like a deathbed moment become an excuse not to work.` Know-It-All - Most narcissists are know-it-alls. They think they know everything and in their eyes, you are just stupid. Plain and simple. *A good example of a know-it-all narcissist would be:* `A truck driver who knows that his semi-truck only runs on diesel fuel, but the guy in the Corvette at the gas pump insists that it runs on regular unleaded gasoline. The truck driver argues that it will only run on diesel fuel, but the guy in the Corvette tells him he's a fool because he knows he is right and a semi-truck only runs on regular unleaded gasoline.` First Impression - Many narcissists will give off an outstanding first impression when you meet them. It will be one you will remember because that is their goal. They want you to take notice! They want you to believe or see that they are great at their job, their life, or being in a relationship. *A good example of a narcissist and a first impression is:* `A manager who is hiring is impressed by the potential hire who has shown him that she goes above and beyond as an employee, so that manager hires her on the spot. A few months later that manager starts to see her true colors like coming into work late, taking too many breaks, and so forth.` Avert the Conversation - Most narcissists will almost always make sure that the focus is on them at all times. They don't care what you have to say and will avert the conversation from you to them in a matter of seconds. *A good example of a narcissist who averts a conversation is:* `Sally tells her friend Julie about the cute dress she saw on sale at that department store on Lewis Avenue and Julie says, she was just on Lewis Avenue this morning and she saw this cute guy, whom she got to know at the coffee shop just around the corner from her favorite thrift store.` Trainwreck Life - Many narcissists will have tell-tell signs of a trainwreck life meaning they bounce from job to job, relationship to relationship, never staying in one place for very long. They are always on the go, on the move. *A good example of a train wreck narcissist would be:* `A roommate who doesn't keep a job for very long. He or she may stay at the job for as little as a week or as long as a few months with an excuse they see as viable on why they quit. In addition to bouncing from job to job, your roommate may have unstable relationships that come and go in her life.` Cheating - While cheating isn't just the trait of a narcissist, it is very common in most who are in a relationship. A narcissist who cheats has a need and if their partner doesn't fulfill that need in their eyes, they will find it in someone else, whether it's the guy next door or the co-worker at work. Taking Advantage - **A narcissist will almost always take advantage of you** or a situation to fulfill their needs. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/46-How-to-Recognize-and-Handle-an-Extreme-Narcissist-esb6lj *A good example of a narcissist who may be taking advantage of someone is:* `An employee who is always late for work comes in early one day and asks the boss if they can leave early because of an appointment and make it up by coming in an hour earlier the next day. The boss agrees, but the employee comes in two hours later the next day stating they had car trouble and would stay two hours later that day. But, instead of staying two hours later, they make another excuse to go home.` The traits mentioned above are just a few examples that a narcissist may have. Remember, no two narcissists are alike, meaning he or she may exhibit other signs that are not mentioned here.

My garden is growing. The first produce from it! 🍅
I'm honestly tired of the internet always being down and there is nothing we can do. It us the only internet service in our area because we live in such a small town. Sigh. I have not been able to get any work done because of it. Even my cat seems annoyed because of it. 🙄
I've been busy writing tonight about a subject I know all too well. The article is called: How to Cope-With a Naysayer https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/how-to-cope-with-a-naysayer-e7e0dcd3
How to Cope-With a Naysayer When I first started working from home, I had a lot of naysayers who were not impressed by my decision. They thought I needed a real job in the real world and would send me emails and messages about jobs that we're hiring in my town. Once they realized that their determination was being ignored, they focused their efforts on those closest to me and won, in the end. I had gotten tired of all of the badgering and went back to work for a lot less money. Less than two years later the company closed its doors permanently. Then one day, I moved on. It wasn't easy. Life is never easy, especially all of the big scary stuff. But I realized that after working for others at dead-end jobs, I wanted more in my life and a lot less stress! So, when the Covid virus hit and I was told I could not return to my job because I had visited my eye doctor to pick up my glasses, **I decided to go back to work online**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/1-8-Lessons-Ive-learned-When-Transitioning-to-a-Successful-Work-From-Home-Job-eeghpg As soon as I chose to work from home again, I realized that I still had naysayers focused on shutting me down. I guess when you love your job as much as I do, people become jealous and it tends to bring out the worst in them. The audacity of loving my job, how dare I! - while being my own boss and working my own hours?! It has them all mad as hell. But you know what? That's okay because I stopped allowing others to get to me. I have no regrets! Yes, there are both good days and bad days with working from home, but I love my job! And I definitely love the freedom of being my own boss! I honestly believe that it doesn't matter what type of job you have, whether it's online or offline, **a naysayer is always going to complain**, especially if you love your job. They will throw every excuse at you, every reason why you can't, while they are secretly hating their own life. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/8-How-to-Identify-a-Narcissist-in-Your-Life-egjsqi Instead of listening to what they believe is true, start believing in yourself and stop paying attention to those who don't support you. After all, they are not paying your bills! I don't want you to make the same mistake that I did by listening to those who don't want you to live your life! I want you to be polite and silence the naysayers by believing in yourself and not them! Change that you can't do it, into a yes I can and do it. What have you got to lose? Even if you are the only person who believes in you, it's okay! You are more than enough to believe in your dreams and achieve your goals! The way I see it, there are only two options in life: You can either listen to the naysayers and do nothing. You can fight back by living your dream life! Yes, you will have to work hard if you want to make your dreams come true, but in the end, it is worth every blood, sweat, and tear. And heck yes, it's scary to even think about stepping outside of your comfort zone to do something you have never done before. To put yourself out there, already knowing that the world is one tough cookie. But here's the truth, most of us go our entire lives and never follow the dreams we set out for ourselves because we don't want to experience discomfort. Don't be that person who doesn't live their dream life! Take the risk, step out of your comfort zone and live your life! But most importantly, don't allow those who don't even want to try, keep you from living!

I don't like to waste a lot, so all of the beet juice, olive oil and sea salt marinade got bottled up to drizzle on a salad in the near future!! 🤤💙
One of my other delicious vegetables I grilled today. I know not many are a fan of beets, but they are so yummy on the grill. I just tossed them in olive oil and sea salt just like I did with my carrots! 🤤
One of the yummy vegetables I decided to grill today! So delicious and healthy with just a toss of olive oil and sea salt. 🤤🥕
