Hi guys, trust you are doing great?
Let's continute from where we stopped yesterday.

When we got to the organizer's house the following morning, we were given a warm welcome. Like we've known each other before, the organizer was the CEO of glow towers Cameroon, Mr Noel Shalom, we spoke about the sad incident that happened to us on our way coming. He took his time to explain things to us, Cameroon had been in crisis for a long time now, both the french and english speaking regions were not on good terms. They wanted to split, so the Ambazonians who abducted us were from the English speaking region (northern Cameroon). After telling us the war history, we met his family and then we talked about business.
The deal was to train youths in Bamenda (our current city), Douala, Buea, and Limbe. A three day training event had been scheduled to hold at those cities. That's twelve days for the whole session, and we've been giving a month pass at the immigration office, so everything was looking good.
The first city, Bamenda was always very cold. Felt like I was in London (lol) but it wasn't snowing. The CEO and his family lives there, and we were guests in their house. We canceled the offer to lodge in an hotel so as to prevent being attacked by hoodlums calling themselves freedom fighters . We toured round Bamenda, on out first day out. Some of the areas had funny names like madagascar, foncha street, behind travelers, and so on.
The training at Bamenda was scheduled to start the following day. We visited the venue, arranged all our equipments, and were anxious to teach, ready to impact the lives of hundreds of youths in Cameroon. The next morning we set out to the venue. It fell on a muslim festival, it was the Eid el fitr festival, the festival after Ramadan. It seems I was the only muslim at Bamenda or at least the only muslim in that location. There was no celebration, it was just a busy business day like every other day.
On arriving at the venue, I saw some old men, and some youths about twenty in number waiting at the hotel reservation. When we settled, they came to join us. We told them our short story, how we started the business Fabstein designs and how we were abducted by Ambazonians. The first day of the training session was tiring , I had to make a lot of corrections by demonstrating the right technique to use but it was a fantastic experience.
The second training day at Bamenda was good too, the youths showed great interests in the new design trends, and we collectively spoke of ways to ecband, generate more income, and create a more sustainable life for the entire human race with what they've learnt. The final training day at Bamenda was a joyful experience for me. I had just completed my first task in Cameroon, and I was close to achieving success in my business trip.
At the end of the training session at Bamenda, which was our fourth day in Cameroon, we went to church to give thanks to the Almighty, and we visited other places in the city. We ate and drank, my favourite Cameroon fish still remains the ndola....mixture of vegetables and boiled ripe plantain 😌
On the 6th day at Bamenda, we were ready to continue our journey alongside the CEO of glow towers and his board members, we travelled to the next city which was Douala. I call it the sun city. Douala is warm and sunny, it was a lowland, it wasn't mountainous like Bamenda, and it wasn't cold. It felt more like home, more like Lagos, due to the weather.
The training session at Douala went well too. We trained about 10 youths, and I was worried because the population decreased. So we set out to visit schools but the time given was not palatable to us. We had to leave Cameroon as soon as our contract was completed. At Douala we made plans for the grand training session at Buea and Limbe, we visited some universities like university of Buea, and others I can't remember now. The trainees at Douala requested for another training session because they wanted to invite their friends. They accepted the idea and were ready to implement it. They had already created a social media page for their flooring business before we left Cameroon. I and my partner were truly impressed by their attitude. But we didn't have the time to host a training session in Douala again, we had to go home, we told them they would have to organize the training without us because we'll be going home soon.
On completion of the training session at Douala, we had already spent more than two weeks at Cameroon. We had about 12 more days to train the youths in the remaining cities which were Buea and Limbe.
To be continued....
