Failed Promises

2 11

Even if I have somewhere to go,

It will be a place faraway from home

Somewhere I will be at peace alone

Without your presence in my plane.

You chased me away without a crime,

The innocent me, in my prime

Searching for love not soulmate

Love, the best feeling ever!

Though I've been forged in the fire of life

And I've made sacrifices with knife

So it isn't necessary to feel my pain

Verily, after every hardship comes relief

At the end you failed your promises!

Those promises you made were truthful lies,

Instead of gooseberry I see butterflies

Surely my love will rise

Then I won't need your filthy ass.
