Happiness is a pursuit
What is happiness? Is it something you pursue or do you just happen to find it?
Happiness is a state of well-being that comes from within. While our external environment plays a role in shaping our mood, it’s also influenced by our internal state. Happiness is the result of living an authentic life. People who live their lives according to their values and principles tend to experience greater levels of happiness.
It's something that you never get exactly right, but you keep trying to get closer and closer to it.
When we're happy, we're kinder and more generous. We like ourselves better and we like other people better. And when we're not happy, it's because there was something missing in our life—something that was necessary for us to be happy, whether it was a relationship, a job, or just the right amount of sleep.
Happiness is not something that happens to us—it's something that we create for ourselves. And the way that we create it is by pursuing happiness through all the things that bring us joy and make us feel fulfilled every day.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
No matter how much you work to get there, it's not going to be easy. Happiness can't be bought or sold—it's an internal feeling that you have to find within yourself.
If you're feeling down about something, take a step back and ask yourself: what am I doing that makes me unhappy? If it's something small - like the way you've treated others - then try changing your behavior and see if that makes you feel better. If it's something big, like an illness or relationship problems, then talk to someone who can help.
The most important thing is that we all need to be aware of our own happiness—because if we don't know where we're going, how can we expect anyone else to help us get there?
The pursuit of happiness is one of the most important things we can do. It's also one of the hardest, because it's not always easy to figure out how you're going to get there.
But it's worth it! Just think about what kind of person you'd be if you didn't try to figure out how to be happy all the time. You wouldn't even care about doing your best in school or working hard at work—because you wouldn't know that those things would make you happy!
So if you want to be a better person, then start by working on being happier yourself. And don't forget: no matter what, there's always something positive around the corner!
