The only obstacles are regulatory pressure and volatility, otherwise it would have taken over the world already.
Exactly 💯. Volatility has been one of the major turn off for a lot of people
The adoption is the key to get volatility under control, but without friendly laws, it's hard to make it happen. And the laws are only getting crazier.
Yeah, only traders love volatility. For payments & adoption extreme volatility isn't so good.
Agreed, and I know despite both of those BCH will still win out in the end and get the world onboarded. After all, Bitcoin Cash is one of the few cryptos I know that you can do microtransactions with and thus fully integrate with a Social media site like this. Thank you so much for adding SmartBCH capabilities here. I've been sick the last week so I haven't had much time to do the write up I wanted to do about it -- but the many options here make this community / platform the absolute BEST.
Yep, BCH is still great and the fees and the speed are awesome. SmartBCH is also amazing :)
Yes, getting more into SmartBCH incrementally and can't wait for more people and projects to see how well SmartBCH really complements Bitcoin Cash as it gives us so much potential in the ecosystem. It's like between BCH, SmartBCH, Noise App, Read Cash and others we can literally do everything in one ecosystem seamlessly yet have everything be decentralized. I've been starting to experiment around with decentralized governance for instance; snapshot makes this doable even for those of us who aren't experts at coding smart contracts and they have SmartBCH as one of the chains / networks supported. :).
