2 the gift
she is asian, her hair is so black, skinny, her skin is as white as snow with pink lips, and you can see that she has a weak body. the question is how can a girl like this survived the uncurable virus with a body like this. she sat down on the bed and start watching a random film. when fred arrived with a glass of water she already fell asleep. he drinked the water. he put a table where he place a water bottle. fred look at the girl, he was so amaze to see a fairy like girl. she was so beautiful that fred cannot stop to stare.
but somethings wrong, why does she smells slightly like a rotten corpse. is she already dead, is she real, whats the real story of this mysterious girl. he can know if he just asked question, but we cannot please any body. fred sniffs and get closer to the her body. she smells great the rotten smell doesn't belong to her. when fred looked at the girls face her eyes were open. fred shouted in shock and stepped backward.
"your not planning to cook me right?" the girl said like she doesn't care at all and go back to sleep.
our poor fred was very disappointed at himself. slapping his own face while walking away from the bed and trip on something on the ground. there is a big dead deer on his lawn with flies and starting to smell. that is where the stale smells' comming from. the deer that he hunted, that he forgot to clean is now useless, and will just become a waste. he needs to hunt again because he already used all the meat that he have.
he remembered that the girl requested for another meat meal. he looked at a young pig near him and the pig looked at him also. the pig started running. fred follows it where ever i goes. until he catches a hen because the pig was so fast you will need two person to catch it. and he doesn't want to use gun that can wake the girl. fred cleaned the chicken and roast it. what a delicious smell coming out of the chicken. he also pick some fresh fruits from his small orchard.
the girl wakes up after some hours and look what fred was doing without fred noticing it. he is cleaning his café, it was a mess. he's picking up small pieces of glass that he collected from starbox. what a shame that was a very beautiful unique collectibles.
"oh" she said.
fred almost jump out of surprise holding his chest and look at her.
"sorry, i broke some of your things. i'm really not used to driving" the girl talked like she was a very kind person not like the girl fred met earlier.
"by the way my name is ellie" she smilled and walk toward her trailer truck.
fred felt happy, because the thing that he was dying to know is her name.
"i'm fred, it's ok. it's just some cup" he replied with fear that he might ruin again something. ellie looked back and smile. fred continued cleaning. she openned her trailer and a lot of chip fell. the truck was full of different kinds of things and a lot of snacks. fred come near and looked.
"i think you liked snacks" he asked like a little child.
"it is the only food i can find. i been eating this for months" she said while still looking for something. fred just watch her and she finally found it. she raised two starbox thumbler while smilling so pretty. they were big and the color were pink and black. she throw the pink to fred.
"this is mine and that is your" she said it while making face and it was so cute. our fred cannot stop to fell in her beauty.
"oh, thanks" while looking at it and asking himself why he got the pink one?
fred help her to close it and they went back to bed. it's getting dark and ellie went inside to use the bathroom. fred excitedly openned the fence light to surprise ellie because it look majestic at night. when ellie went outside, she quickly notice the beautiful different light of the fence.
"whoaah, it's so beautiful. you made this?" her eyes were brighter than any lights on the fence.
fred was so happy to make this girl smile. he gave her a blended tea. she take it slurp it and looked around, and she laugh when she saw fred's face. the d*ck was still on his face without even noticing it. she hold his hand and pull near the tv.
"look at your face" she said and cannot stop laughing.
fred was shock and doesn't know if he will laugh also or he will get angry. so he just laught awkwardly. the both of them laugh together while fred was scraching his head. he removed it and prepared the food.
"so, where are you heading" he asked normally just to make some conversation while eating.
"dunno, i'm just driving straight. maybe there is someone at the end of the road. i'm looking for anyone to tell me what happen, why theres no more people around." she's telling her story with a sad face.
fred humor starting to work. he's thinking how to make her laught and also he's wondering why she doesn't know about the virus.
"you don't know what happen?" he said while thinking for a good one.
"just tell me already" she asked while pointing a pork to fred.
our fred got an idea. he said that zombies been eating all the people and he is the only one survived. ellie fell for it and starts to get nervous. she listens carefully. she tighten her hold to the fork and pushing her chair near fred. fred just continued his fake story and enjoying to make her scared.
"and then!?" she was now sitting beside fred. she is holding freds' arm while looking around maybe there was a zombie coming and she was so afraid.
at the end of fred's story he said that it was a joke. her eyebrows got near each other and stands up. and jump to fred. they fell down on grass and laughing. she stands up and kick him very light.
"uhhhhhhh, you decieved me!!!!!" she shout so loud while smilling.
fred can't stop laughing until ellie faint, and fell on the ground. fred manage to catch her head.
"hey, ellie wake up" fred was so afraid and doesn't know what to do. he's tapping her face lightly but nothing happens. she's unconcious and fred put her in bed. she doesn't look like she have the virus but there's something wrong with her. fred wants to get some towel but he cannot leave her alone. he put some blanket on her and sit on the bed waiting for her to wake up.
maybe she will die. we don't know. and this is the end of our story. gbye readers.
