Sunday's Best: Unstoppable Faith

Hello! Everyone! How's your day went? Mine was okay and happy. 😊

Todays article, I will bring and share with you what I heard from our divine service or mass this morning. Also, I wil share with you what I did after our mass. 😁

I do hope that you can reflect the word of God that I'll be sharing now. I just want to open your heart and mind so that the gospel will not be wasted. 💕 Let's start.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

How can we have this kind of faith? There are three important thing to do:

• Hearing

  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Through hearing the good news, we can serve Him. Our faith will gradually grow. But we should always remember that through hearing, we should apply everything we hear. It is more important that we should hear the word of God because it can change our lives. Change our vision, and change our perspective in life due to the fact that the word of God can change lives. 

Upon calling His name in times of trouble, He will surely extend His hand to help us. No matter how hard our situation, no matter how hard headed we are, no matter how we reject Him many times, He is always the God that will never leave and will never forsake. He is good and will always be.

• Tested

  Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”

  “Here I am," he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love Isaac and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you. Early the next morning, Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. (Genesis 22:1-3)

We should be tested to know that our faith has fully grown. If there are no trials, tests, and challenges we cannot say that we are fully equipped in the word of God.  It is indeed normal that our life will encounter multiple tests. Just like the story of Abraham in the Bible in Genesis 22:3, God tested Abraham to offer his one and dear son who was Isaiach. And because Abraham had a great faith in God, he obeyed God and offered his son as burnt offering unto Him. After Abraham was tested, the abundant blessings showered upon him. He became the "the father of faith" as God called him.  This just proves that Abraham was a faithful servant of God. 

If you were Abraham, would you offer your only child to God? 

• Pursuing

  But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:11)

In serving God, we should pursue what we've started. Upon hearing the gospel, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we should be committed to finish the race of serving God. 

Closing Thought: 

Therefore, to have a unstoppable faith in God, we should rely to these three mentioned above. These are just a simple task to do. As of the moment that we are now in hardship time, we should be vigilant at all times. To make it sure, let us meditate the word of God day and night for this is written in bible. We cannot live without God. He is our everything that we need. He is our God.☝

In addition to, faith is the key to have a closer relationship with God. Prayer and serving Him shall be the actions also in doing so. All these are important to enter the kingdom of our Creator whom He prepares for us. If you want to live in there, don't waste time, serve God before it's too late. 🙏

These are the words of God shared by our preacher or Pastor. He stated all of these to remind us that God is always faithful to His words if we are faithful to Him too.

After our mass, we gathered at my sister's house. This happens every Sunday that we eat our lunch in their home to have a fellowship with each other. Since we do not have anything to do after eating our lunch, we do a videoke. This is our kind of bonding while eating caramelized popcorn.
