Sunday's Best September 20, 2021 Hey, everyone! Cold morning from me because of the rain. How's yours? I hope you all are in a good place. *I will just share with you today what happened at my Sunday service. It started and goes like this.* Yesterday was church time. We went to the church and spent our time worshipping God. We were excited to hear the good news. Due to the fact that our locality is under GCQ, we are going to follow the protocols. We are strictly not allowed to go outside our house without any valid reasons. Only one person is allowed to go outside and buy important things such as goods and health necessities. Even mass gatherings are not allowed too but because God is really good, he makes a way. He makes all things possible to do. Good thing also that our barangay has no active cases. So, because we love to go to church, we decided to ask permission first from our honorable barangay chairman to make it possible. Without difficulties, our barangay chairman approves our request but there is a condition.  ***The condition is this; there will be a mass gathering if the congregation  will be divided into two groups. It means that two divine services will happen and should follow the health protocols which are social distancing, wear face masks, and the capacity of people to attend which is only 30%.*** So without any reactions, we agreed and were ecstatic at the same time. We grab the chance anyway. This was what happened. We divide the members right away and inform them of their scheduled time to attend through messenger chats and phone calls. We divide the members by family for us to have an easier way to do so.   The first divine service was done around 8:00AM to 9:30AM and the second service happened at 10:00AM to 11:30AM, respectively.  The first divine service was great. The members who were scheduled on the said time were there. Thanks to God they understand the situation. They ended with a thankful heart.  Because my family was scheduled for the second service, we patiently waited for our time. I really had a longer time preparing my kid and her stuff to bring to church.

We were there at church exactly at 10AM. Perfect timing because the one who leads the service just started as we arrived. Thanks to our Lord that the second service as well ended filled with gladness and peace in our hearts. We were beyond blessed and grateful to the fact that God's holy presence moves us. I really felt the presence of God for the whole service.

During the offering time, I give my tithes. I give my 10% income to the church for this is right. Only 10% that God asks us to give. I gave my 10% income from my sideline as a tutor and another 10% that my husband gave me and the other 10% for my earnings here on readcash. In all, there were three 10% I gave back to God. ( I will not just share to you the amount for each of them, only God knows.☝) By the way, my husband also gave his tithes. We just joined them in one pouch and I wrote our family name on it. From this, we should give back to the Lord what's his because He is the owner and we are just his stewards.  We as a couple, this is our tradition to give all to God especially the tithes which is the very important thing to do. We are not chasing the blessings of  God poured out in our family but because of the love that we have for our Lord. That's why we give what He deserves to receive. ***Closing thought:*** Even though our lives are affected by the pandemic or the happenings in our world as of the moment, we should find ways to still worship God every sunday. We should not make any excuses to stop attending the mass because He deserves all the thanksgiving that we have. He is more than enough. He is our everything. Yet, after all, He is still the one who finds ways to make all things possible.  ***This article was supposed to be published last night but my internet doesn't cooperate.
