Saturday: Family Outing

Yesterday was a tiring day due to the fact that we celebrated someone 's arrival from onboard. We went to the beach to make it a happier day for all of us as a family. We used to celebrate this kind of moment every time someone is coming home from onboard. As a family, this has been our tradition since then.  The day was a tiring one for the reason that we were busy preparing the food. My mother was the one who led in the kitchen to cook the food. My two sisters also were her assistants. Of course I help them to make it faster. My niece was the one who took care of the baby so that I could lend a hand to them. The food we prepared in the kitchen were *grilled meat, pancit, sweet potato (camote), grilled fish, kinilaw nga isda, and escabetche*. I was the one who made the *buko salad.* Those are just the simple foods we prepared.  The couple who asked to have a celebration also cooked the other food.The husband was the one who prepared the native chicken (bisaya nga manok) and the wife baked a butter cake. That was all the food we ate and shared together on our outing.  We decided to go to the beach since our place is near it. We still want to go there even though the weather is not so fine for the reason that the kids love to go swimming. We arrived at the beach at 12 noon and it's a perfect time to eat.   One hour later, it's siesta time. Each of us has its own way of relaxing oneself. The kids of course went swimming. They really enjoyed the ocean so much. The boys were having some drinks with beer and talking about life events and many more. My husband took care of the baby and I was just sleeping. Lol😁 At 3:00 o' clock onwards, my sisters and I decided to go swimming together with the kids. Laughters overload when we have some funny moments in the water. The weather was so perfect because it was just balanced. Not hot and no rain, our skin wouldn't be affected. What?? affected?lol😂 We enjoyed the atmosphere as we went to dip in the water.  At 4pm, my brother-in-law offered a videoke game. He said that whoever has the scores between 90-100, will be given Php200. But if your score is already done by others, you must sing again until the score is available for you. So, we agreed to the rules and started singing with a beer standing in front of us. Lol😂 I tried to drink one grande of beer with my husband. We both drank yet we did not get drunk but at least we tried. One of the bucket lists achieved because of that time. 😊 The videoke game started, I tried to sing and luckily I got a score of 93 where no one has already got it. So, I received Php200. Thanks to God.😇 My husband also did singing but unfortunately, the videoke did not cooperate. It didn't give the score after he sang. Lol😂 he did not receive a prize. The game was so fun and enjoyable. All of us had a great time.

At 6pm, we ate our dinner. We are still in the videoke game.  We really had fun due to the fact that most of us entered the game, even the kids and the young ones.  At 7pm onwards, we decided to fix our things and went home. Minutes passed, we separated ways as we had our own home to go. The smiles on our faces painted until we went to sleep. It was indeed the most enjoyable day and a family day. We all give thanks to the Lord after all.

***Family is everything. They are the most special people in our lives. We should spend our time with them with love and happiness even though we already have our own family. Happiness and love should always prevail. 💕*** Thank you for reading. God bless 😇
