It's December, and the most popular holiday in the world is under way. We all know the drill, sparkling lights hanging form store to store, we can hear beautiful Christmas and new year songs any where we go and most importantly the cold weather. Unlike other Christmas celebration I've had this year's Chris seems dull and rusty, probably because as I grow older everything isn't new to me any more.
Well different regions in the world have their own way of celebrating Christmas, and new year, from the lights to their music, to the food and shows. Let's take a look at what to expect and things to do while touring in this regions this December.

If you enjoy German Christmas culture then Birmingham is the spot for you. It hosts the largest Christmas market outside of Germany and Austria, attracting over 5 million visitors annually. Consisting of the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market and the Craft Market, the market has grown from being rusty to a popular Christmas destination.

New York City could be said to be the most popular destination for Christmas. And there is no denying the beauty of the city during the festive period.
Nothing screams New York City in December louder than the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. This is a famous yearly tradition in the Big Apple, and both tourists and locals flock to the tree lighting ceremony, which can take place in early December or late November. The tree is notable for having 50,000 LED lights in a dazzling array of colors and stands at an hundred feet. On top of the tree you'll find the "Swarovski Star," which is 9.5 feet in diameter, weights 550 pounds, and contains 250 hundred (25,000)sparkling crystals with over one million facets.
