Into the minds of the toddlers, the young and the adults.
It runs amok like a loose elephant;
The poor man's life is like an ant,
So the rich gaints can squeeze and throw away
Corruption wears so many masks; dwelling in the minds, hearts and faces of the lords and the common man.
The war to curb the blazing flames of corruption is on;
yet, young dreams and aspirations are proved abortive.
For those who attempt to fight it get dragged by it
Corruption has taken upper hands.
The hands that should offer comfort, give only poverty, unemployment and insufficiency.
There is deep anger for the wrong doings of a lot of elected hands;
And every hand becomes desperate to grab and seat on the wealth,
Not resisting the corruption they too detest.
Who then will hear the clamouring voices of the innocent minds?
Which leader will then halt this putrefy and the spreading fire of our greatest enemy?
Democracy is badly caught; the Government for the people and by the people has torn apart.
