Game shows are very popular in the United Sates and other English-speaking countries. One expression that comes from an old TV game show is “That's the 64,000 dollar question.” If you ask a difficult question and the other person answers, “That's the 64,000 question,” it means your question is very difficult to answer, or that it is a question that many people are asking themselves as well.

This is not the only expression related to game shows in English. There are quite a few of them. Another one is: I'll take X for $100. This expression is from the TV show Jeopardy, where contestants would choose questions according to their dollar value from different categories. It could be used in many different was. For example, if your friend makes up a story that's not true, you could say, "I'll take stuff that never happened for $100, Alex."
