Many of us today lack what is called discipline. This however is in different views in the sense that it ranges from respect, obedience, ethics and others. However, we must instill discipline in our dealing with man and we must also be cultured in our way of doing things.

Discipline is commonly applied to regulating human and animal behavior. In the academic and professional worlds a discipline is a specific branch of knowledge, learning or practice.... A disciplined mind shows empathy for others. He/She understands other people's feelings, experiences and situations. Reason is simple: they're compassionate having probably either experienced same or by virtue of the conditions they've subjected their minds to, they understand what they're going through.... Discipline is the practice of making people obey rules or standards of behaviour, and punishing them when they do not. Order and discipline have been placed in the hands of headmasters and governing bodies. ... If someone is disciplined for something that they have done wrong, they are punished for it.... Discipline brings stability and structure into a person's life. ... If there were no discipline, people would do whatever they wanted and make mistakes without putting the consideration of others first and foremost.
