How can we motivate our children.

Students are now demotivated for their studies. I think after pandemic,the habit of reading has decreased among the students. There are some responsibilities as a teacher and a guardian to motivate our children to be attentive in their studies.

What teacher should do

Be a good motivator: A teacher can motivate a student by his own power and school is the first media to communicate with student. Educational institutions are the best media to teach a student. Teacher is the main driving force of this system. So a teacher need to be also motivated and so energetic to motivate his students. And he needs to put a belief on them that they can if the try.

Teaching In interesting way: Teaching should be interesting. Because monotonic teaching can be harmful for students. It damages their interest of learning and their abilities. Learning must be co-operative between teacher and students. One way teaching hampers the learning system.In this case, the teacher will play the role of facilitator or coordinator and will create opportunities for students to develop their thinking skills. The success of creative inquiry depends largely on student - centered participatory teaching.

Using real materials: The important thing of learning should be using real things at classroom. It makes the learning interesting. A teacher can use real pictures, chart, graph or poster as a model which are available at our surroundings. To bring a diversity at the classroom.

Group work: Every student is not same at the classroom and everyone’s learning capacity is not same. Because some of the students are curious and some of them are shame. So if a teacher make a group by mixing up with all kind of students. Then the brilliant one can help the others and those things can learn which they didn’t understand. And in classroom there have some issues with back benchers and first benchers always. I think group work will remove the all problems between this two class.

What a parent should do

Ensuring regular attendance at school: Your child needs to be encouraged to attend school regularly and attend classes. The classroom is the perfect place to prepare yourself to answer creative questions. Through class activities, the teacher imparts knowledge about creative question formulation techniques, practice, mark distribution process. As a result, students will understand the various question - answering techniques and be able to apply them accordingly.

Ensuring a reading environment: Inquiring the improvement of the children is must be known to the patents. Every guardian should spend time with their children. As a responsible guardian, they need to take care everyday homework, class work and the comments of the teachers. Thus a student will be responsible and they will be more careful about their studies.

If necessary, the content of the lesson can be told to the children in a story by matching or relating it to a real life incident. Only then will the learning last and you will be able to apply it in real life.
