The veil is not an obstacle to national progress
Women and progress
Islam has not only given women equal status with men due to their duty of motherhood, but also more than some men. But you are ignoring it as an obstacle to progress. Your demand is that women will fulfill the responsibilities of motherhood, govern the district as a magistrate and entertain you as dancers and singers. What a strange sight you have!
In fact, you have imposed such a heavy burden of responsibility on the woman, as a result of which she is not able to do any work properly. You are employing him in things that are innately against his nature. Not only that, you are dragging him out of his nest of happiness and making him stand on the field of competition, where it is not possible for him to face men. The natural consequence of this would be that she would be forced to lag behind men in competitive work. And if she is able to do something, she has to do it by sacrificing the dignity and characteristics of femininity.
However, this is what you think is progress and in the fascination of this so-called progress you are showing contempt for the great duty of home and family life. But this house-world is the only factory for making human beings. There is no comparison between this factory and the factory for making shoes or pistols. Because of the special qualities, personality and qualifications required to run this factory, nature has given most of its strength to women.
The range of this factory is wide and there is a lot of work. If one devotes himself to the work of this factory with full sense of responsibility, he has no time to look at the outside world; In fact, the more skillfully and skillfully this factory is run, the more advanced people will come out of it. Therefore, women are most in need of useful education and training to run this factory.
That is why Islam has arranged the veil system. In short, the goal of the screen is to ensure that women do not deviate from their duties and that men do not enter the workplace unjustly.
Today, in the fascination of so-called progress, you have risen and fallen to destroy this provision of the screen. But if you want to persevere for this purpose, then you have to resort to one of the two paths. Either by composing the tomb of the family system of Islam, you have to keep women as slaves and maids like Hindus or Christians. Otherwise all the man-made factories in the world will be destroyed so that the factory for making shoes or pistols will have to be ready for it.
I would like to emphasize to you that it is not possible to save the social status of women and the family system from disaster by violating the Islamic way of life and social order. No matter what you mean by progress, before you take action, you need to decide what you want to lose and what you want to gain.
Progress is a broad semantic term. It has no definite or limited meaning. The Muslims once ruled over a vast kingdom from the Bay of Bengal to the Atlantic Ocean. At that time they were the world's education gurus in history, philosophy and science. No other nation in the world was equal to them in civilization and culture. I do not know whether that glorious age of history is called the age of progress in your dictionary. However, if that era can be called the era of progress, then I would say: the Muslims of that time were able to achieve so much by maintaining the sacred provisions of the veil.
In the history of Islam, the names of great scientists, philosophers, thinkers, scholars and victorious heroes have become bright. Those world-class people must not have been nurtured by their foolish mothers. Not only that, if we look at the history of Islam, we also see the names of many famous women, in that era they achieved great fame in the world of science. The curtain has never stood in the way of their progress and development. So if today we want to follow in their footsteps and make progress, then why would the screen be an obstacle in our way?
