The True Meaning of Happiness
There are various definitions of happiness based on a person's level, the types of desires a person has and whether or not that person aspires to seek a higher purpose in life, as well as the extent to which that desire exists.
Happiness, on the other hand, is felt when a person's desires are on the verge of being realized but have not yet been satisfied.
A person in this state is filled with excitement, similar to a youngster anticipating a birthday.
To obtain a blissful condition, happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to profound delight.
Happiness is achieved when your thoughts, words, and actions are all in sync.
Happiness is a result of your deeds, not something you can buy.
Happiness is defined not by how much we have, but by how much we enjoy what we have.
Success is obtaining what we desire, while happiness is appreciating what we have.
"When you are miserable, life laughs at you."
When you're joyful, life smiles back at you.
When you make people happy, life salutes you."
What makes us happy is an age-old issue; even birds and animals appear to have a joyful life.
Happiness, on the other hand, is a snare.
Yes, happiness is a clever trap devised by billions of years of evolution in order to keep us in the survival cycle.
There would be no desire to exist, breed, and continue this continuously infinite circle of purposelessness if our bodies didn't occasionally release 'feel good' chemicals. That is why, my friends, evolution was nice enough to sprinkle some joy into our otherwise mundane lives.
Now tell me, when you consume good/tasty food, do you feel happy? Yes? It's not your fault, after all. It's evolution's method of 'telling' us that we need to eat healthy foods in order to keep our bodies healthy and reproduce.
As a result, happiness occurs when we are anticipating a reward from life, when we feel as though we are about to receive one.
