There's always a rainbow after the rain, a light in darkness and a hope in desperation.
Every single day feels like a boomerang. We wake up just to wait for the night, and we sleep just to wait for another day to pass. Occasions and plans got cancelled. Many people lose their jobs and some missed the opportunity to grab a job.
Who would've thought that numbers can cause trauma? The higher the number, the more depressing it becomes.
Back then, "suspects" are just for assumed criminals. Now "suspects" can be more dangerous for they might cause transmission. This year totally surprised the whole world with a deadly pandemic.
It is no longer free to have fun outside. Gadgets became the substitute channel for celebrations, hang-outs and main communication. Lots of stranded individuals are crying over growling stomach and begging for someone to help them go home to their provinces. Thus, capabilities and resiliencies of government officials are tested. We are experiencing a lot and different challenges each day that causes us worries and anxieties. However, there is always a ray of bright side throughout this pandemic. Families finally managed to eat together. Parents have more time to bond with their children. Teenagers realized the importance of education and how to prioritize needs over their wants. Some people became strategic in finding means to suffice their needs. State of inequality was suppressed because everyone felt how hard it is to continue living despite this crisis. Most importantly, faith and humanity was restored.
Things may change ironically, but let us not allow those negative changes overpower the good things in every situation. We must spend time taking care of our loved ones and especially our health not wealth. In this pandemic, prayer is our best shield.
Let us continue to live, but this time let us live stronger.
