How great it is to look back to those times where everything seems fine and normal. Where people are exchanging hugs and kisses. Kids were tirelessly playing under the sun enjoying with their playmates. You could see your friends enjoying parties, gatherings and celebrations. You could also see laughter's, peace and comfort all over the community. Until one day, it all fades because the Corona Virus and Disease (COVID-19) invades us.
Life is an endless battle of fear and greatness. Life is an everyday challenge for us. Life was normal before the pandemic. I couldn't imagine that this invisible enemy would destroy a huge amount of casualties to life, economic and globally. I thought that this kind of experience could only be seen in an action and scary movies but suddenly it came to reality.
Everyone was not prepared for this. Everyone was enjoying their everyday life and routine. Everyone was shocked and trembled in fear because of the outbreak of the virus. And they don't know what to do.
When this pandemic came, the government was able to come up a hard decision and plan to lock every community to control the pandemic. They implemented the Enhance Community Quarantine or the ECQ to monitor and to prevent the spreading of virus. Everyone should stay at home and practice sanitizing themselves and do the physical distancing. I, myself, did the quarantine thing and I can barely say that it is not that bad. Moreover, it helps bind relationship with families and create more memories together.
Though at first, it was hard because I was engaged playing outside, travel with friends and families, enjoy school gatherings and celebrations but suddenly, they stopped it. There were times that you were just holding your gadgets everyday watching movies, scrolling on social medias just to kill your boredom. You were about to discover new things from yourself, from your family as well. You were about to made business amidst the pandemic. All that you haven't done before the COVID-19.
Now, we are embracing a new changes. Changes into our community, to our country and most importantly to our life. Changes that challenging us. Changes that influencing our own perspective and decisions in life. Changes that affects our physical, emotional and social life.
The life we have right now is different from before the invation of the pandemic. Now, everyone is worrying about tomorrow if this will end or not. Everyone is making efforts in controlling this outbreak. Everyone is now suffering from hunger and death because the COVID-19 chooses no one.
All we have to do now is to accept this new normal in our life. To embrace the changes that comes and still continue to move our feet beyond it. To help one another and share blessings to those who are poor and in need. To support and pray for the safety of our nation, our life, our family and especially to our FRONTLINERS.
This COVID-19 pandemic might end or not but still life goes on. It is definitely hard to live this new normal but we don't have any choice but to face it. Keep moving forward. Keep trusting and keep believing that one day or another the sun will shine brighter and everything will be back to normal and have peacefulness. This pandemic is lesson and a challenge for us because we only live once and we need to fight for this and fulfill the greatest and happiest moments in our life amidst different calamities and difficulties.
Year 2020 is a challenging year
