Everyone is scared into this Corona Virus, it is a threat to human life. A disease that can pass through face to face communication or through interaction between the infected one. A virus that can ruin your entire life and lead you to death. It is originated from a Wet Market which is located in Wuhan,China and it is now all over the world. Although the past months since it started the lockdown, shutdowns, and quarantined, Philippines has now becoming one the most countries who has more than 100,000 thousands infected. The economy has turned low, markets, malls, and businesses are force to close. Food supplies has been affected due to panic buying, yet the government gave us a relief goods but how long does can sustain us? A normal life being freed, being able to speak to friends and to see people on your regular basis has now changed yet we can do it through online but it's still different feeling if we do it through face to face. We never think that this kind of situation will happen. Our lives are now almost exclusively online, as well as our leisure and learning time. However, I am human so I will learn to adopt but for now it is hard.

The first day of lockdown just felt like normal day off. I was happy that time to think that I don't need to worry about my upcoming exams and do school works but after a while the reality of the situation started to grow and sink in. As the numbers of death arises, thousands of lives had been taken away. We do worry especially when the public's spreading news to take a lockdown every town. My mom then rashly went to groceries store to buy food that can supply us. As the corona virus continues spread engulfing the entire world, people are more getting panicked especially my family but still thank God that we are far from the city which is Manila, who has a lot of infected people. We are just worried about the victims and that someone we know might get sick. We're scared that hospitals are overload and there aren't enough doctors. Especially the frontliners who are sacrificing their lives just for us to have a safe guaranteed life and we owe it to them.

Nobody predicted that it would killed so many people, force countries to lockdown, shut schools, and public places to prevent the continues darkness of this virus and put our life to hold. However at some days pass, I miss going to school surrounded by my friends and teachers, spending every Sunday going to Church and being free to go out like there is nothing to worry about. It is just unfortunate that such a pandemic claims of live is bringing such a change all over the world. Almost a month later, I was extremely sad and bored so I started spending my time with my hobbies that had been previously swamped by school works and I had realized how much I'd missed them. The lockdown has made us appreciate our parents who usually work all day. Spending time with them gave us an opportunity to understand them and help us to become close together. The bond that we missed when we are not together gave us now a time to spend it. We are lucky atleast to be able to have a safe home, eat 3 times a day and to be able to continue study even if it is through online while on the other side there is a lot of people who wishes to have this kind of lifestyle, and due to poverty so they cannot afford it.

One big lesson learnt is we have to be thankful and grateful with simple things we have in life because they are the best things. That life can change in a second, take time to revisit the things you love and remember that all of this will eventually pass. As a youth of buguey, all we can do right now is to follow the protocols that had been implemented. Trust the president, for he has a family to take care but still on us to fight and assure us that everything is under controlled and everything will be alright. And that what's president must do but due to those ignorance people who are making fuss without looking on the positivity of what's our president had done in the previous months, they all just blamed the government/him for being frail. Yes, you blamed the government as the global pandemic arose and their focus was on the ABS-CBN franchise, etc. that instead of focusing on what's the real problem is. but how about if we look forward to a better future, disciplined ourselves, be a good citizen and so together we might overcome this.

This is life during Covid-19.
