Daring for A New Normal Life

YOLO - a millennial term indeed, yet, right now, a term too hard to enjoy. For we are constantly reminded that life is precious, and that life, as of now, is not what is used to be, a life that should be taken care of, since its a life living in a new normal environment, due to the ever growing pandemic, eating away the real essence of living once, and living it to the fullest.

Looking closely, we are already surrounded: grief, anxiety, pain, depression, and mostly death. Yes, glory of the future starting to crumble before our very own eyes, as we are being succumbed to darkness due to Covid 19. A never ending array of what ifs, and what would be, as more and more people are going sick due to its effects, we would just start to again question ourselves, "is this normal anymore?"

Friends, readers, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the life, amidst Covid 19.

Yes. It is a real struggle as we venture out in the fog of this pandemic, not knowing what we could be hurdling across, and yet we fight. As Filipinos, we still give our very best, in all aspects, and all manners, and in all odds. Because we, never back out, and never surrender.

Now, frankly, how do we appreciate this precious and life changing moment, living in a new normal society? Putting it blunty, we just needed to focus.

Covid 19 had closed so many doors in our lives: no more schools, no more wild card parties, no more group gatherings, and no more happy fellowships. And though it may look as if we could somehow accomplish it, we tend not to, due to the reason that we could acquire it, now, or later.

But then, when a door closes a new one opens, thus, we tend to give more time to our family, precious time to rethink of life, and greatly, to have an even deeper relationship with the Lord.

Yes, these are just some, and if i would continue on, maybe the platform i am using may crash (kiddingly aside) but then, its your wake up call, my dear friends.

Covid 19 may be our greatest threat right now, but if we put it closely, there is no thing greater than God who sees, hears and answers, and people, who in turn, help each other in this most troublesome times.

Friends, families, people of all nation, i plead, that even though we are living out of frustration, remember that there are still rainbows after the storm.

So i urge you, challenge you, and let you be focused! This is our new way of living, live it to the fullest! This is what is normal, that you are together with your family, that you are closer to focusing yourself, and that you have more time for God, live on it. Because at the end of the hardest day, we will still breathe the same air, walk the same lands, drink the same water, and say to each other "you only live once". I rest my case.
