After being closed for the past few months due to the coronavirus, some schools in Canada have reopened due to social distance and hygiene regulations, and some schools are reopening from 6 September. In various provinces of Canada, things are slowly returning to normal.

Many parents have expressed concern over plans to reopen the school. Many of them think that the situation is completely normal and they will only send their children to school.

However, school boards have already taken various steps to ensure the social distance of students in the classroom and the safety of students, teachers and staff. They also think that the issue of free ventilation in the classroom is important.

Experts emphasize the need for free ventilation rather than the size of the classroom to avoid infection. Colin Farnes, an infection control and epidemiologist, said many schools had reduced the size of their classrooms, but many of them did not have windows.

According to him, if there is no ventilation system, students will be dragged out of the house and put in danger.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says provincial authorities have made important decisions to give children a chance to stay safe as the school year begins.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, on the other hand, said he plans to return to school, adding that school boards will use their reserve funds if necessary to ensure everyone's safety.

Expatriate Bengali parents are also apprehensive about the government's decision to return to school. Some said they would take online classes at home instead of sending their children to school.

Mahmud Hasan Dipu, an expatriate Bengali and development researcher and sociological analyst living in Calgary, Alberta, said, "I have decided to send my dear children to school." However, I cannot be completely skeptical about the precautionary measures.

"We are worried about the kids going to school," said Ashrafur Rahman of Calgary, Alberta. I think the government has to play a more important role in this regard. Thinking about the situation and the days ahead, I decided to send my children to study online.

Note that panic has not yet subsided across Canada. People from all walks of life are trying to be careful and follow the rules of hygiene. Masks have already been made mandatory in Alberta. Office-court and business trade is going on following social distance and hygiene rules.
