China launched a research project on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day on Tuesday to reduce the incidence of liver cancer among patients infected with hepatitis-B.
According to a report, the project is being funded by the Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control.
The study will look at a five-year incidence of liver cancer among 20,000 chronic hepatitis B patients in 99 hospitals across the country.
This research project will be conducted with the aim of finding ways to reduce the tendency of liver cancer from hepatitis B.
