Isn’t the reflection in the lake breathtaking. If I had intended to capture this reflection it probably wouldn’t have turned out as nice. What a lucky accident.

I hope that everyone had a nice weekend. We had good weather here. Now that my kitchen is clean I am ready to relax. My husband and I are going to watch the series “Poldark”. We’re almost finished with it and need to find something new to watch. Any recommendations ?

This morning my son was feeding our dog and spotted this beautiful moth. We’ve never seen one these colors before. We hope that we will see more. It looks very Eastery. Are you familiar with this moth ?

My son loves to cook and try out new foods and recipes. I bought him some crunchy garlic in chili oil last month and it was a hit. He put it in mostly sauces. We all love the taste. It is a product of Japan. The flavor is lovely. Have any of you tried it ?

Happy 4 th of July to those that celebrate. My husband had to work and we’ll be having a late dinner. I am preparing baked beans , onions and sausages and peppers. Hopefully he’ll be home soon, but he thinks it’ll be awhile longer. . He was prepared to work a possible 12 hours. I hope that you have all had a nice day.

I think that Florida has gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. A friend of mine who lives there took this lovely photo. We have heavy rain at the moment . Unfortunately we won’t be able to see the sunset. I hope that you’ve all had a nice day.

Hello, I hope that you have all had a nice day. My husband has been off the last two days and we have mostly relaxed. We watched a few movies and today we went for a drive. It was a gorgeous day and we ended it with some Mexican food that we got and brought home. It was delicious. I hope that everyone enjoys the weekend.

My youngest niece is very excited about the watermelons. She goes and looks at them every day. We once had a watermelon that sprang up in our yard. We had not planted it. Maybe a bird dropped a seed in our yard ? It grew to be a nice size and tasted good.

I hope that everyone is doing good. It was a nice day here. It was a warm one and I decided to make bacon and tomato sandwiches for dinner. It was nice to have an easy cleanup. For those of you in Wednesday already I hope it’s a nice one.

I made some vanilla cupcakes and homemade buttercream frosting this afternoon. My husband and son will have them for dessert tonight. Chicken is baking in the oven at the moment. I hope that everyone had a nice Sunday.

An online friend told me about this survey site. She really likes it and told me that it is legit and does pay, so a week ago I did register and tried it out. I have had two payouts so far that I sent to my PayPal. I’ll have another payout today. I haven’t spent much time on it, but I think that I could get a payout every day. I’ve never had any luck with surveys in the past. I think I’ll enjoy this site. Are you familiar with it ?

My youngest sister and her husband are going to Nashville, Tennessee in the morning. They are taking their son to college. They won’t be back until Wednesday. We’ll be watching their cat Elsa until they return home .

We’ve stayed mostly indoors today. It has been a real scorcher. I’ll be glad when the temperatures cool down a bit. We are under a heat advisory. The heat is really suffocating when you step outdoors. How is your weather ?

This photo is from 10 years ago. My nephew loved the water as much as I did. I really enjoyed his company and miss him. I don’t get to see him much anymore, but I cherish my memories.

We don’t have a garden this year. It’s been awhile since we have had a garden. My daddy had one every year. His tomatoes were the best. Some of our relatives and neighbors still have one. They are kind to share. Fresh vegetables always taste so good.

This photo was taken at my brother’s in-laws home yesterday. His daughters love to ride the horses. I enjoy watching them. I mostly have cows to watch on my road. I do see the occasional horse. We are getting ready to have the special Father’s Day dinner. I hope that you’ve all had a nice day.

We were so relieved when the water came on around 3 this afternoon. They finally found the problem pipe and fixed it. My son and I have been preparing for Father’s Day tomorrow. I made a chocolate cake and he made chocolate frosting. We are also making shrimp and sausage gumbo for tomorrow. I hope that you’ve all had a nice day.

It’s been a crazy week. We have lost power and had a day with spotty phone and internet service . Today our water pressure is terrible. We only have a small trickle of water coming from the faucets. The water company is trying to locate the problem. It’s our whole area having the loss of water. On a good note our weather is beautiful. I hope that you are all well.

Yesterday there was a cell tower down in my area. We had trouble with all of our services. Phones , internet and hotspot were not working well. They kept going off and on. Today everything seems to be working. The phone not working was the worst problem. Thank goodness AT&T got the tower fixed.

My sister and her husband had pleasant visitors this morning. They are really enjoying their time in Maryland. I’m not sure how long they’ll stay. Hopefully they won’t encounter any more snakes.

Just popping in to say hello. My husband is doing remarkably well. He feels good, but is still testing positive for Covid. My son and I seem to have dodged the bullet. I hope that we are out of the danger zone of catching it from my husband. We will continue to take precautions until he tests negative. I hope that you are all doing well.

My husband got an antiviral infusion today for his Covid. It rained on us coming home from the hospital. I may be here less while my husband is ill. We are blessed that he has a very mild case. So far my son and I are well. I hope that you are all doing good.

My husband’s fever was gone this morning, but he was scheduled to go to work and his throat was mildly sore. We tested him to make sure he didn’t have Covid. Unfortunately he does. He doesn’t feel horrid, but is sleeping again. Hopefully he has a mild case.

When my husband got home this afternoon he sat in his chair and almost immediately fell asleep. He slept for over a hour. When he woke up he ate just a little and drifted back to sleep . He later woke up and said that he felt hot. I took his temperature and it was 101.2. I gave him some ibuprofen and he went to bed . I hope that he’s better in the morning. He’ll take a home Covid test if not. Neither of us has been sick since before the pandemic started.

I made corned beef and cheese sandwiches for dinner. They had a bit of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on them. We had dill pickles on the side. Tonight’s cleaning of the kitchen was easy peasy. What did you have for dinner ?

This is one of my favorite summertime desserts. It’s a strawberry shortcake. The sponge cake is cubed and you layer with strawberries, sponge cake and whipped cream. It is so refreshing.

My husband loves the Peanut Buster Parfait at Dairy Queen. He can only get one when we are at our home in West Virginia. We don’t have a Dairy Queen anywhere near us here in Mississippi, but Dairy Queen is within walking distance in West Virginia. Have you ever had one ?

Off and on my husband has been trying to get the fuel filter off of our truck, but it doesn’t want to come off. The truck is 27 years old. It still runs, but because of its age we don’t go a long ways with it. I hope he can get the filter off. It’s driving him nuts.

I’ve been mowing today and boy was it hot out there. I’m not quite finished. I had to take some breaks to cool down. I’ll go back out in a bit and finish. Tomorrow is going to be even hotter. We’re supposed to have a heat index of 100 Fahrenheit. I hope that you are all doing good.
