I found another new recipe online. This one is dill pickles baked with cheese. You put cheddar cheese in a muffin pan, place a slice of dill pickle on it, cover with more cheddar and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Then dip them in sauce of your choice. I think spicy ranch would be good.

As I was out walking the other day I shared the road with these cuties. There must have been around twenty of them . The pasture they were going into was full of cows and goats.

I saw this cute idea online. It’s mozzarella cheese and tomatoes used to make the candy cane. I think in place of the tomatoes that pepperoni would look good too.

Good day to you all. Instead of turkey for Thanksgiving we are going to have duck. My husband and I have never had duck before. My son loves duck and wants to make one for us. I didn’t think they sold them anywhere near us, but I found out that they do have them at Walmart. I look forward to trying it.

We’ve had a nice Sunday afternoon. The sun has shined much of the day and we have pretty blue skies. My husband and I have stayed home and relaxed. Tonight we’re going to have cheeseburgers for dinner. I hope that you’ve all had a nice day.

Our cat Baby loves to play in boxes and with the wrapping paper that’s in them. She’s 16 years old and still acts like a kitten. I think that she’ll always act like a kitten. She’s so energetic and playful.

My son made a delicious salsa verde out of these tomatillos. It was his first time making it himself. It was a real hit and there is only a ti y amount left.

I hope that everyone is having a good day. It’s a bit damp and chilly here. This afternoon my husband has a dental appointment. A crown that he had put on two years ago is bothering him. We hate going to the dentist. Even with dental insurance it can be costly sometimes. Hopefully it isn’t anything major.

Our cat Baby has several beds throughout our home. Sleeping is one of her favorite hobbies. I saw this bed online and thought that I may get it for her. It looks so soft.

I saw this cute pet bed online the other day. I’m thinking about getting it for my cat Baby. It looks so soft and I think that she’d love it. They come in several sizes The smallest is the one I’d get.

Friday afternoon our sweet girl Coal died. She had been in our family since 2009. She was such a sweet and gentle dog. We will miss her terribly.😔

We’ve been in West Virginia and returned to Mississippi on Saturday afternoon. We had a good time there and got some work done on our home there. This time we got a new deck. I hope that you have all been well.

How’s everyone doing ? We are doing good. It’s been pretty hot here and I’ve tried not to be outside in the middle of the day. August is always the hottest month here. Rain is coming and we should have cooler days this week. How is your weather ?

Today went by much to quickly. Dinner is over and the kitchen is clean. It’s time to relax a bit. My husband and I will watch something on television. Maybe we can find a good movie.

Isn’t this a charming restaurant. It’s in West Virginia. A friend of mine celebrated her birthday there last night. Next time I’m there I want to try this restaurant out. I’d like a table in one of the barrels.
