Pain can be simply described as a symptom of a physical injury or a disorder of the mind, an illness, or an emotional disorder. Mild pain can be treated in many ways… over acne and drugs. But what if the hurt just won't go away? We get prescription drugs. Most drugs work well, but for some people with severe or chronic pain, NLP and hypnosis do wonders.
What is NLP? In a neuro-linguistic system. NLP uses a set of models and principles to define the relationship between mind and language. Although at first it was doubtful about pain treatment with hypnosis, the medical community now feels that hypnosis is really helpful in controlling pain.
Severe pain lasts for a while while chronic pain lasts longer, usually for more than a month. Even low back pain can be debilitating. Pain comes in many forms, throwing, stabbing, stabbing and more. Pain is also influenced by a variety of factors, such as memory, emotions, and circumstances. Another confusing problem is that sometimes the pain has no natural cause at all.
Pain is sometimes described as memories of the past, present pain and anticipated pain in the future. The combination of these three often gives us a definition of pain and this is one of the reasons why chronic pain is always debilitating. What makes the pain worse is expecting the pain to happen the next day, the next day and the next day and so on.
A few tips to help us deal with pain are given below
Trance and Relaxation are the simplest things you can do to relax. The way to relax is simple. All you have to do is tell yourself a deep and gentle tone take a deep breath and relax. With each breath you have to rest continuously. Tell yourself that as you count down from 5 to 1 you will rest again until you faint.
Synesthesia is a method best developed with simple light. In this way you examine the pain as a sensation. What exactly is pain? Where, is it the slow-moving or the immediate pain? Do you have color and texture? How is it going? This may seem daunting but don't worry. The important thing is to try and put something in your pain, give it a make-up so that it feels in your unconscious mind. The next thing you need to do is think about the pain outside of your body where it's easy to see. Try to check it at a distance of about two meters. Now what can you do to change the quality of the pain. Make it smaller or larger or change color and sound. Change the way it goes. Now look at what happens when you cause a change in pain. When you are finally satisfied with the changes you have made to your pain you can send all the pain to a faraway place or you can put it back in your body but in a different place where the pain can be controlled. Even better, you can just turn your pain down and put it back in the same position to get rid of the original pain.
Increasing Your Strength
Pain can be very damaging and can weaken us. But we can overcome this by doing some simple visual tests. Bring them to a place of complete rest and concentrate on breathing. Think of a golden ball of light around your body,
you can hear it, and you feel it vibrate. Then imagine that when you breathe you take energy. The golden light is now getting brighter and brighter, the harmonies are getting brighter and the vibrations are getting stronger and stronger. As you breathe out, imagine that all the discomfort and pain are being expelled from your body. Now vibration and coordination have become a tool to help you relax more and feel the emotions massaging your body. With the help of the above tips you can help yourself manage your pain. But keep in mind that these are not hypnosis or NLP methods.
