One of the most disliked and hated words in the world is suicide, which is a very familiar word to all of us at the present time. That is the word we hear every day. Because until I wake up in the morning and go back to sleep at night, I can see or hear about these suicides on the pages of daily newspapers, on the television screen or through social media. Which is the worst of the worst. But all around us, in our society, in the country, this suicide is increasing at an increasing rate. But the solution does not match. It is not being revealed what is the root cause of this suicide or why to destroy oneself through this heinous act. None of the people in the society, from the lowest to the highest and from the seven-year-old to the seventy-year-old, are excluded from this heinous act of suicide. Which is a shame for a society, a country or a nation.
Suicide is so heinous that World Anti-Suicide Day is observed to raise awareness about suicide. Originally World Suicide Prevention Day is an Awareness Day which has been observed around the world every year since 2003 through various suicide prevention programs in many countries of the world since 2003. The World Health Organization and the World Mental Health Federation work closely with the International Suicide Prevention Agency to mark the day. In 2011, approximately 40 countries celebrated this day. According to a 2014 report by the World Health Organization on mental health, no low-income country in the world has a strategy or approach to suicide prevention, with 10 percent of low-middle-income countries and all high-income countries having it. And an approach to creating awareness where some people display love signs. But even then the suicide did not stop.
If we take a look, we can see that the number of suicides has increased many times at the present time and there is no control over it. People from all walks of life are being involved in such heinous acts. I am highlighting some of the recent suicides.

The images of suicide above are very few. A few real images are shown. But behind it are thousands of suicides. Where a life ends very easily.
There is a reason behind every human suicide. From what we can see from the outside, we never know the root cause of the suicide or what happened to him that he did not hesitate to finish. Every day different things happen in human life. Never happiness ever or sorrow. This is the end of the race. But can death be the solution to everything? Can't Because there are a few more lives connected to your life. There is a family involved with you, your society. You relieved the temporary grief by killing your soul but left your family in the most difficult situation. No suicidal person ever thinks about his family or his parents. If he had done so, he would not have drowned them in the sea of sorrow. It's not that if you commit suicide, everything will be fine. Everything will be solved! Then why suicide!
Surveys are being conducted every year by government-private and various organizations related to suicide or focusing on suicide. For example, the title of the survey conducted by the Center for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh is 'Bangladesh Health and Injury Survey 2018'. According to the survey, suicide is the leading cause of death in road accidents, suicides, drownings, electrocution, falling from buildings and other types of accidents. The company said this from a survey conducted in 16 districts of the country. However, they want to do more research on the subject. According to the survey data, in 2016, the number of suicides among the under-18s was an average of 30 per day. In 2003, the same organization had 6 people in the survey. As a result, the number of suicides among children and adolescents aged 13 years has increased from 2,218 to 10,921 a year. According to the survey, in 2016, the number of suicides among adults was 36 per day. The total number of suicides during the year was 13,226. Also, 15,981 people attempted suicide last year. According to the survey, the number of suicides among people of any age is 14 per lakh. This rate is 6 among males and 21 among females. On the other hand, the numbers range from 26.8 to 10 to 14 year olds, 44.9 to 15 to 18 year olds, 24.3 to 16 to 24 year olds, 13.6 to 25 to 39 year olds, 40 3.4 out of 59 year olds and 21.9 out of 60.
Meanwhile, the National Institute of Mental Health and police headquarters estimate that an average of 26 people commit suicide every day in the country. As such, about 10,000 people in the country are committing suicide every year. The World Health Organization (WHO) has found that Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Eastern European countries and Japan have the highest suicide rates. In the last 50 years, the suicide rate in the world, mainly in developing countries, has increased by 80 percent. According to a study conducted in Bangladesh, family problems (41.2%), test failure (11.6%), marital problems (11.6%), love problems (11.6%), extramarital pregnancy and sexual relations (11) 6%), attempted suicide to get relief from husband abuse (5.9%) and financial hardship (5.9%).
According to the World Health Organization, about one million people die each year as a result of suicide. Which indicates that about 40 people die every second due to suicide. In every country of the world, suicide is one of the top 10 causes of death and one of the top three causes among 15-35 year olds. And on September 10, 2015, a BBC report mentioned that Bangladesh is ranked tenth in the world in the suicide survey.
There are some reasons behind the suicide incidents in Bangladesh. Such as family quarrels, quarrels between husband and wife. Obstacles to love, not getting the expected results, not getting a job, deprivation, dowry, social abuse, extra parental rule, over-emotional etc. And there are some symptoms in those who commit suicide, such as: frustration, random talk, apologizing to everyone, being angry all the time, etc. So we should all strengthen our family and social ties. Keep track of each other. To make everyone in the society aware. Then the tendency to commit suicide will gradually decrease. The word suicide will be deleted.
