The identity of a Muslim cannot be such that he is only concerned with his own welfare. Will do good deeds and refrain from bad deeds. The Holy Qur’an says, ‘By the time! People are really at a great loss. Except those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to be truthful and patient. '(Surah Asr, verses 1-3)
The hadith speaks of preventing injustice
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'If any one of you sees a bad deed or thing, let him change it with his hand, if he is unable to do it, let him protest with his mouth, if he is not able to do it, let him change his heart. He hates it, and this is the weakest level of faith. '(Bukhari, Hadith: 194)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was then the Imam, the head of state and the ruler of the nation. Nevertheless, he instructed his people that whenever any of them saw something bad or dishonest, they should come forward to change it as much as possible. His statement was that whenever one of you (people) sees something bad. '(Muslim, Hadith: 201)
Conditions that are necessary to prevent evil deeds
It is important for the interested parties to pay attention to the necessary conditions to prevent evil deeds. These have been derived from the commentary of the hadiths.
One. Undoubtedly forbidden work in Sharia
The word ‘munkar’ here refers to the forbidden acts of Shariah, which are obligatory on people who stay away from them. Punishment from Allah is prescribed for those who engage in these forbidden acts; Whether it's getting involved in a bad job or giving up a necessary job. If there is no continuity in the work of Sagira sins, then the servant is acquitted of these sins on various occasions. Allah the Almighty said, ‘If you stay away from the major sins that you are being told to stay away from, then I will remove your minor evil deeds from your reckoning and admit you to a place of honor and dignity. (Surat an-Nisa '4: 31)
In the hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the five daily prayers, from Jumu'ah to Jumu'ah, from Ramadan to Ramadan, all of these (sagira) sins are erased, if the poets can refrain from committing sins.
Two. If injustice is manifested
It must be open and visible to come forward with muscle power to retaliate against injustice. Therefore, it would not be lawful to take on the role of a spy and gather information secretly about what is happening behind the scenes or behind closed doors. The hadith says, "When one of you sees a crime."
Even if a person commits a crime and secretly negotiates with Allah without revealing it and seeks forgiveness, Allah will make the punishment of the Hereafter easier in this case. As it is said in the hadith, "Everyone in my ummah deserves to be forgiven except those who reveal it after committing a crime." (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 335)
Three. Possessing effective power
Those who want to prevent and change injustice must be able to. In this case, one has to possess material or spiritual strength, so that he can be able to work easily without suffering any major loss. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Those who are not able to change with the help of force, let them try to change it with their mouths or descriptions.' Or is satisfied with the protest meeting, etc., if he is able to do so.
The use of energy is usually possible for those in power. The person in power can use it to the best of his ability to seek redress for wrongdoing. Such as the husband with his wife, the father with his children and the family who are brought up in his care, the owner of any company
Internally and if the head of government or head of state is within the limits of his state or scope of work, etc.
Four. No risk of major damage
It is important to be free from the danger of great loss in the fight against injustice through the use of force. For example, there is no fear of the beginning of a fitna-fasad where innocent bloodshed takes place, honor and dignity are ruined and the wealth of the people is looted. As a result, injustice is able to take hold more firmly and the oppression of the oppressors is able to accelerate. Therefore, the scholars have decided that if there is a danger of initiating an even greater injustice in retaliating for the injustice, then it will be valid to play a silent role in this case. In this regard, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her), "If the members of your nation had not been young enough to embrace Islam, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and built it on the foundation of Ibrahim." (Muslim, Hadith: 3385)
Five. Resort to humility
In this connection, a famous incident took place when a man entered the Majlis of Caliph Mamun and began to command and forbid him in very strict language and said to him, O tyrant, O sinner, etc. Mamun was prudent and intelligent and patient, he did not proceed to punish him like other kings; Rather, he said to him, "Speak a little in a gentle and gentle voice. Surely Allah has sent a better person than you to a worse and wicked person than me, and at the same time exhorted him to be humble and gentle." God sent Moses and Aaron, they are better than you; He sent them to Pharaoh, and he was worse than me. Then Allah said to both of them, 'Go to Pharaoh, you two, he has rebelled. Talk to him gently, perhaps he will take heed or be afraid. '(Surat at-Taha, verses 43-44: Source: Ehiyau Uloomiddin: Imam Ghazzali)
From an Islamic point of view, it is not only the duty of a public representative to prevent immoral acts, but also the duty of every citizen. In this regard, the hadith says, "Each of you is responsible and each of you will be asked about his responsibilities." (Bukhari, Hadith: 6136)
It may not be possible for anyone to go from house to house and prevent immoral acts, but it is the duty and obligation of everyone to prevent anyone from committing a crime in public and in broad daylight. Terrorists like Nayan Bond openly kill people on the streets because people move away from such responsibilities. And others make videos like cowards.
