I just have realized that being an idealist is not wrong. I just have realized that we can use it to build a different world and society. Why? Do you believe that everything the society teaches us is correct? There's no absolute truth if you would think beyond what the box provide you. The truth can changed and that's ironic right, how could it change if it's the truth already? Simply because not everything is truth, they're only truth for others thus we believe because majority follow it. Who build society? People. Who build norms? People. They would say an idealist is impractical and naive. Yes, that's true. But what does practicality means? There's no absolute meaning because our definition is based on society (which is created by man). This is also the reason why we should not intervene to religious practices in daily life because it's root from divinity and not human. We think that the reality of world is cruel because there's crime, poverty, and corruption. But who created that? It's the human. Do you think there would be crime if everyone believes that life is important, do you think there's poverty if everyone believes that everyone should be given the same opportunity, do you think there would be corruption if every government believes that everyone should receive the help they need for..Think about it. If everyone is living idealist and they impose their ideas, there would be less of "painful reality," for our reality is based on what the society created..which is a mess. Your definition of reality is not the actual meaning of reality even if you're a realistic person.
