"No wonder why this song and singer won Grammy awards." Paradise doesn't exist here on Earth. Social injustice, discrimination, poverty, murder, greed, and many more are what found in this world. Sad but it's the truth and we can't call this world a paradise at all. I can also interpret in the song that the singer is questioning the existence of "God" because if there is, then how come all these inhumane and suffering exist? That's why I respect atheists and other non-believer. As a believer myself, I do not question them. I understand their point of view. "Oh Lord, is there nothing more anybody can do? Oh Lord, there must be something you can say." -Another Day in Paradise by Phil Collins 1991 Grammy Award winner for the best pop vocal performance. https://youtu.be/Qt2mbGP6vFI?si=BIiMJkVqjowBDzgs

It's up to us to turn this world a bit better and a bit closer to "paradise". It's our small action that can make a huge difference in this world. We can't demand someone else like a God to fix what we as humans messed up and created. 😔 As an example even during school where I only got like 6€ a week for food I often shared 1€ of it with a homeless person or street musicians who were begging there. It's just a small action, but when more and more people are doing these things it will have a bigger impact in this world.
Same here, I also share a little amount of money to the beggar. We have a mindset here in the Philippines that we should not tolerate those who are not doing anything in their lives such those beggars who are not working to provide a living because they only rely to the public and want an easy life but for me, my purpose of giving them a coin is because I want to do something better in this world, at least I can share what I have to others.
That's very kind of you! Especially during these financially difficult times these people are struggling so much... "not doing anything in their lives" - this is so sad to hear... It's not like most of them decided to be in this position... 😔
True, we can do something to help them and teach them the way and not judge them for not doing anything. We don't know their situation :(
