That's fun to see! π Actually I'm from Germany.
Yes, I know you're from Germany flip. By the way, does the capuccino causes palpitation? I love that it's vegan.
Hm. Yes. I think so. At least if you drink too much of it. There is a lot of caffeine in it... π€ Btw this brand also has some good fully vegan artificial meat. I ate their burger patties a few weeks ago. π
Wow, so this brand is famous? I'm glad I've tasted their vegan coffee. I really love the products made in your country.
I don't think it's that popular. But people who are vegetarian or vegan know it. π€π I see! What do you like about German products?
I like that your country support vegan lifestyle. It's very fascinating.
I see! π€ At the end it's basically the people who buy vegan products who make companies develop new products. π€ I think that more and more people stop eating meat since it simply isn't necessary anymore because there are good alternatives. And it's still a small thing here. This is for example a picture how small the fridge with the vegetarian and vegan meat is in German supermarkets. Still only ~12% of the Germans don't eat meat...
I am wondering how does plant-based meat taste and how are they created enough to be called as "meat" alternative?
It's based on soy, wheat or pea and many taste just like meat. For example the Chicken Nuggets from "Like Meat" taste so real... The sausages from "Like Meat" just taste exactly like meat. Or the ground meat by "RΓΌgenwalder MΓΌhle" is also good. π€ But when you know what you are eating you will taste a difference. And knowing that no animal suffered or died for it makes it taste even better! π
Wow that's very interesting..I hope in Philippines there will be more vegan foods like that. But my country is an undisciplined one with a very unhealthy diet and top 10 consumer of meat, have you heard of our traditional "lechon"?
Isn't there anything like that where you live...? Maybe you have forgotten about that but on noise.cash I promised you to send you some Flips one day. I then also can send you some artificial meat since there are dry ones which you have to mix with water and oil. π I googled it and immediately closed the browser. π¬ That was a shock. π If this would happen around me I would just leave...
Honestly in every celebrations here like birthdays, Christmas, festivals and many more, people will roast a pig (lechon) to be served in the table and I always feel crying looking at the pigs stab multiple times. I cannot describe it anymore because its too disturbing. Yes, I remember about the flips. Until now I am very curious about that. I have never tasted any vegan meat in my whole life and it's because that's not sold here.
I see... Somehow it's interesting how some animals are worth nothing and some are considered as a friend. Could you imagine a cat or dog being roasted like that? π€ At the end pigs are more intelligent than dogs and are really sensitive living individuals... They can be our friends too... π₯ I see! I think in many countries in your area meat is pretty important. Also in Japan...
I believe pigs are intelligent too..I became emotional about animals after reading in buddhism that animals are reincarnated souls into lower kinds of creatures. I don't know if you believe in that. I am very curious to try the vegan meat like how does it taste, is it closer to pork and chicken?
I believe that live is like a lottery. These are living individuals with a soul too. But we got "lucky" being born as a human. Others are born as a pig or bird. There are different tastes. It basically tastes like what's on the packaging. Pork, chicken etc. everything is possible. BUT if you pay attention you will have this slight taste of soy/pea protein or wheat with most of these products. For example the vegan nuggets/burgers at Mc Donalds or Burger King (fast food restaurant chains) taste so close to meat. There are these "pranks" where people get a vegan burger thinking that it's real meat. π
Very interesting! I hope the world will turn into vegan lifestyle one day and I am so more curious now to try a vegan meat..
From them I only know "Byond Meat" but there actually seem to be a few plant based meat brands where you live! π€ππ https://viable.earth/plant-based-food/11-plant-based-meat-brands-you-can-find-in-the-philippines/
Thank you for researching flip but they're hard to find tbh and most of them are imported. But I would like to try these one day, I feel like it's gonna change my life for real.
Hm... I see... π I think there would be a high chance that you just stop eating meat then. π€π BUT there also is a downside... Many of these products still are a bit pricey. For example the vegan burger patty by "Beyond Meat" costs like 8$ in my local supermarket.
Maybe I would be vegan one day who knows haha.. Yeah, I believe they're expensive because it's difficult to find vegan foods most especially in countries like Philippines but in US, there are so many vegan there!
Hahahaha maybe π π But actually these processed vegan products are only a nice addition. You can eat healthy just with vegetables, rice etc.... Peas and beans have enough iron, nuts and seats Omega-3 fats and algae provide you with enough vitamine B12... π€ Anyway! π π
Yeah, that's why I love this lifestyle. You are not harming animals at the same time you're eating healthy. It's a win-win in life.
Same!! ππ
