My Journey As An Affiliate Marketer

I just recently entered the world of **affiliate marketing.** I want to try my luck in this kind of opportunity. Affiliate marketing is a process of earning money by promoting the company's products and when someone buys that particular product, you will earn a commission from that. Being an affiliate marketer requires **patience**. It doesn't mean that when you promote an item online then you are guaranteed to earn from it. You need to build your name as an affiliate marketer and you need to widen your properties. Properties are what you use in promoting products. It could be a **Facebook page, YouTube channel, TikTok account** and anywhere where you can reach a wide audience. It is very important to be reliable as well in promoting products so that people will know you are not just selling products to them, you are also recommending something worth buying. Before I have started my affiliate marketing journey, I first submitted my Facebook profile page for approval. Thankfully after two days, they have approved my property. I chose the **Involve Asia** marketing company since they are the most popular advertiser. Honestly, I want to chose Ecomobi as they said the commissions there are higher compared to Involve Asia. I am torn if what should I focus but I ended up choosing the Involve Asia.

After my Facebook profile page got approved, I immediately applied for **Shopee PH** and **Lazada PH** advertiser's program. It didn't take days for them to approve my application. I chose the two leading platforms in Philippines as they have over a million users inside the country.

It's been almost a month since I am promoting products online and I am only using my Facebook page as a source of traffic. I didn't expect that I would have my **first ever product commission**. I am jumping in happiness because this seems unbelievable to me. I didn't expect that the person who comment "how much" under my lip clay cream post would immediately buy the product. What suprise me the most is that I currently have **4 sales in matte lipstick** and **2 sales in lip cream**. My total sales amount is **$18.09** this is not my earning but the price of product bought by the people who clicked under the affiliate link. My earned commission is **$0.58**. It might be too little but I am happy because someone bought a product from my recommendations. It only means that I have a potential in the world of affiliate marketing.

I didn't regret trying the affiliate marketing. I believe it wil be worth it as it takes time to build your name, to find the best way to reach your audience and of course promoting a product is something you must continue to learn. The good thing I like about this is that it is free to promote anything and you will get paid once someone will purchased from you. I call it one of the brightest side hustle online. Anyone can try the world of affiliate marketing and another thing that I really like from it is that it makes you an instant online entrepreneur without even investing money on the products. Perseverance and determination is a must in the world of affiliate marketing.
