Since I am new to this. I would like to share my ideas and thoughts about, what are the teaching strategies that Brainstorming and Conferencing have. These are our reporting yesterday.
Brainstorming
In this teaching strategy, teachers can be able to use brainstorming as a thinking strategy in all activities, it will help the students to generate ideas, questions, and examples and they can explore a central idea or a particular topic. During this teaching strategy, students shall be able to share their ideas that coming from their minds, and they can all record these ideas without making judgement about them. When introducing a particular topic, teachers can use brainstorming in their sessions to determine if the students already know or he/she wish to learn. And it will provide direction for every activity and at the same a learning and reflection. Brainstorming is really helpful, it can stimulate fluent and flexible thinking and it can be used to extend problem-solving skills to the students
In brainstorming, when it comes to creating an art, there is no blueprint. Every artist has a unique viewpoint and style. If you’re an artist, you have the freedom to choose or to create anything you can imagine in that particular, place, person or anything. But what happened when your ideas don’t flow freely in your imaginary? So here are some tips that I’ve learned in our lesson on how brainstorming creates ideas for your art.
1. Don’t be afraid of trying. When you were struggling to come up a bright idea for your artwork, just change your mind-set. Give yourself a freedom to come out to your shell and explore something new. Even if you have an already a particular style or medium in doing an artwork, you should do some experiments with something different from your style.
2. Generate question for an outside perspective. Sometimes it’s difficult to the beauty of forest through the tall trees. So when you’re having a trouble breaking out of your comfort zone in your mind, you might benefit from inviting someone else that can probably help you into it. You can post through you social media accounts for a piece of an artwork and they can put their feedbacks or suggestions to it.
3. Make your imaginary ideas as your inspiration. We can get inspirations everywhere, but you as an artist, you will be more inspired by the photographs, paintings and other catchy thing that makes you happier and be more inspired.
4. Keep all the things judgement-free. There are a lot of great artist who are perfectionist when it comes to the things that they like. As you an artist that used the brainstorming for creating new ideas, avoid any temptation that will judge your own ideas. You have the freedom to go anywhere your mind wants to go to.
5. Try to switch up your positions. Sometimes we need a physical change. If you’re sitting the whole day just to paint your abstract perfectly, try to stand up and change your positions so that you can used to change every day.
6. Have a break, have a kit Kat. The more pressure you create, the easily to become overwhelm. When you realized that in the whole day you spend in painting, and you struck yourself in a rut and nothing you’ve tried is working and working, try to take a step back. Give time for self to relax and try to chill or renew your mind to have some fresh and new ideas.
7. Do some creative research to collect new ideas. In doing a research it doesn’t mean opening a new book or a new chapter in life, it could mean is going for a little bit of walk. You can visit museums, watching documentaries or movies to get ideas.
8. Go somewhere that new to you. If changing up your physical position isn’t enough to you to spark inspiration, and then try to change your physical location.
9. Take your ideas one step further to your goal. In terms of art or when it comes to art, you have to start or you can start somewhere. If you’re having trouble in generating new ideas, take something simple but meaningful like a colour palette or an object, and to explore it to the furthest possibility.
10. Always keep a record of your ideas. We always keep in our mind that there is no much point in brainstorming ideas if you immediately forget them. So if you want to make sure that you record it, make sure to take note or sketch out your ideas coming from your mind, and ideas when you’re brainstorming so you can come back to those ideas when you need inspiration.
That is why arts have no limits or rules, so the possibilities are literally endless when you do an effort to it. When you were struggling to break through a creative blocks, then you can try some of the tips above that I gave to get the ball rolling again.
