*The donor must have a healthy body.That is,blood should be not given if you suffer from any special problems, in that the donors own body may become weak and there may be Symptoms of other diseases.

*Blood should not be donated before the age of 18.However if you want to donate blood between the ages of 16 and 17 with the permission of your parents and judging by you complete physical condition,blood can be donated on the advice of a doctor.

*Age the weight of the donor should be correct according to age and height.

*A complete medical Checkup should be done before donating blood,such as malaria,HIV and viral hepatitis,to see if it is safe for blood donors to entired the recipients body.This can prevent the risk of virus transmission from the donos body to the recipients body.

*Check the hemoglobin level before donating blood.Then there will be no anemia after giving blood.Pulses,blood pressure and body temperature should be checked at the same time.

*Doctor recommend not giving blood to pregnant women over 60 years of age.......
